Your car looks great Peter! I can't wait to see those gauges installed. Keeping an eye on oil temps is a great idea for ISFs.

Thanks Chris.

Especially true when it's running a remap and S/C setup in the future!

Be nice to monitor things more closely for sure.

Thanks dude.

Got more planned, so watch this space!

Hoping my wife's Audi is ready to collect today. If so, will be getting my steering wheel off to send for its retrim.

After that it's off to the rim place to refinish my Wedsports.

Still, should be a busy 2016 for my F.

Have your shiny carbon skimmed bits come back yet? I have found a place local to me that does skimming, not enquired about price or checked the quality of their work yet.

Hi chap.

Nope, still waiting for the last interior bits to come back from skinning.

Hoping it won't be too much longer though!

The Audi wasn't ready yesterday in the end.

May mean I have to postpone my steering wheel retrim.

May just have enough time to sort it out on Tuesday before I fly to Tampa on business. Just depends how much longer they take with the Audi!

Hey Pete,

Ever had thoughts on blacking out your window trim? Simple & cheap job, less than $20, with Mini cooper black out trim tape! Changes the look of the car a lot.

I'm really loving everything about this thing. Awesome job thus far.
Can't wait to see what the gauge setup will look like. Who needs AC anyway?

I was planning on having the chrome on my grill and window trim plastidipped. Would tape work better and is it more durable?

Hey mate. Have thought about it before, but not sure it's as straightforward when you have the window visors like I do? Certainly an option for the future though if I can make it work.

Exactly!

This is the UK dude, we barely see the sun! Lol.

On a more serious note, this only eliminates the middle vents above the screen. Will still have the corner vents and the option to open the windows of course!

I'd say tape mate. The plastidip isn't that great if I'm totally honest.

I've seen quite a few on here with the tape, and they look spot on.

Hey Guys,

So little update.

Wheels have been successfully refinished in dark anthracite.

Here's a couple of sneak peeks. Car is looking filthy at the moment.

Weather has been ghastly over this side of the pond.

I'll get it cleaned up properly this weekend and snap a few better photos for you guys.

Excuse the missing lug centres on the front photo. Lost a couple at some point!

Got a brand new set in blue again to install with some threadlock this time!

Here's a couple of photos of the custom triple gauge pod for my Defi's.

This is still with my carbon guy unfortunately.

Hoping he gets time to finish the last few bits soon!

My steering wheel is also away for refinishing at the moment. Hoping to have that back soon as well.

My order has been placed on my new seats.

They should arrive in a few weeks hopefully. Stitching is being done in light blue to match the F theme. Will be a one-off set Cobra are making for me.

Should be an awesome year once I get all these bits done.

Further updates soon hopefully!

Cheers.

Peter
