Rob's 06 LS430 Build [T-Demand/Aimgain]
Hey Guys.
My name is Robert. Just call me Rob.
Figured its about time i get my build thread started.
Born & Raised in the Cayman Islands. Currently living in Tampa, FL.
This is my first car i built. 2007 Honda Accord w/ Full JDM Modulo Inspire Conversion
I sold it in April because i got really tired of it. i got inspired into the VIP scene around 2011 and i basically built my accord around that scene.
i decided to acquire a true VIP Platform so i can do what i really wanted to do.
Im a huge fan of Oni-Kyan (Demon Camber) and my biggest gripe was that i couldnt get my front wheels cambered as much as i wouldve liked them.

I knew i wanted the LS430 about a year before i finally pulled the trigger.
So i already knew what i wanted once i had it. When i built my accord. I did it step by step.
I bought lowering springs i threw them on, i bought fake wheels i threw them on.
i pieced together the JDM conversion, i threw that on.
I wanted to do the LS different. i wanted to gather all the parts needed and then attack it one time.
2 weeks into owning the car i sent payment for my Aimgain Jun Vip Body Kit
It was ordered through StanceNation Parts and has arrived in California as of Monday
So its just a matter of It getting to me in florida
in the first month i also went through someone to place a order for T-Demand Front Uppers Oni-Kyan Spec
in the meantime, while the front uppers were cooking i got into contact with T-Demand directly and placed an order for the Front Lower Arm & the Rear Toe Arm
Then i also got word about a set of Rear Uppers that my friend had sitting around for his 430 that he never installed, so i took those off his hands as well.

the tdemand coils should be in roughly next week
then rear tension arms and front knuckle
for wheels im planning on doing a Frankenstein setup like i did the accord with the vip modulars vx310 one side vx810 other side
but this time i want to do vip modular vx310 on one side and infintewerks br on the other side..
thats the plan at least. but wheel choice is still in the air

i also got word back for my t-demand coilovers.
when i was choosing my options for the coils.
i requested they use the al20 shock (al = aluminum, 20 meaning shock rod is 20mm thick)
they got back to me saying that for my application they recommend the al14 shock (still aluminum, just the shock rod diameter is 14mm)
they use the 14mm shock for cars that are a double wishbone setup
and they use the 20mm shock for cars like the y33 the fuga who put the most weight on the coilover vs. other components aiding the weight.
which completely makes sense to me.
so with that said i should be receiving my coils shortly.

Got around to test fitting the aimgain kit
Front Bumper: had a pretty difficult time getting it on but i realized why after, in order to get the bumper on i had to delete the air duct that goes across the bottom of the crash bar, after i took that off it sat good. i still had some small trimming to get the sides to mount perfect with the fender.
Side Skirts: these went on rather easily small trimming needs to happen on certain parts for a more flush fit.
Rear Bumper: i tried to fit the rear bumper on but it needs the most trimming to fit and also it doesnt use the factory mounting bolts so i need to go and get the bolts the kit calls for.
