Fronts are 34 offset and rears are 22 offset. Just ordered some pilot sport 4S.

What size tires??

i was suggest 295/30 fronts and 305 rears.
it’s a perfect diameter and scrubbing would be very minimal.
plus low stagger so car won’t be squirrelly.
I've been running 295/30/19 square on my +35 track rims and they hardly scrub so I know 18” will be no prob.

what an insane and amazing build! I have a soft spot for 18" I think the car rides much better.

I went with 255/40 and 285/35. No 295’s on the 4s, at least not the size I looked for. The Top of the wheels are already flushed with the fender so I think going with fatter tires would rub.

Had the Exoshield done on the windshield and my installer did an excellent job! I waited for this to be done before I put the moldings back on. So, only the top edge is exposed. Now the windshield should be protected against small rock chips!

well I guess you will see once the tires are on the car. Measure the gap with steering wheel at full lock.

Mine only rubs at the corners of the tires, but mindful that’s a 295/30/19.

Hhypothetical 295/30/18, the tire will be 1/2” shorter, so I’m almost positive 295/30/18 will clear the liner front and back. As far as the height, I cannot comment since I don’t know the ride height. But I know your car is not super low.

Never tried to put a 255 on a 10” tire. Prolly will be stretched a bit. That will help the clearance for sure.
But...a square 285/35/18 set up would be sweet too. No push!

i wish I had the windshield film now.
How much did it cost?
one dealer in Atl quoted me like $800 (can’t remember exactly, may be tad less) so I said forget it. I had the glass replaced by lexus at no cost since I have glass coverage.
But then the very next track day after new glass was installed, it got a chip in it...😩

I wanted to keep the outer diameters as close to stock as possible and even though the new set are 18’s, the offsets are more aggressive than my 19’s by 6-7 mm. The 255 on 10” isn’t too stretched but I may have to bend that one tab that holds the fender liner, lock to lock should be fine as I have more clearance inboard now and didn’t have issues with the Velos.
The windshield exoshield cost just over 300$. My buddy just opened a second tint/PPF shop local to me so that was a plus. It was his first time doing the exoshield so he got to practice on my car. It’s a much thicker film than PPF and took some time to do. It will definitely be worth it for those who track their cars.

Here are wheels with the 4S tires installed. Wheels are now waxed and tires are dressed. I’ll post pictures with them on the car later when I take the car out of the garage.

Love the build.. Authentic TRD button is awesome.. I have the matching TRD Shift ****.

Few easy questions..

Can you tell us about the Oil Pan Drain plug.. ? How has it been working out.. Any details / brand.

What does iCode charge for the TB work..? Assuming I just want to send out the one on my F..
I have plenty of down time lately..

Also, Spark Plug details.

I might have more questions

Wheels are on! Didn’t have access to ceramic coating so I did the wheel wax coating for now.

Thank you!
The drain plug is made by GReddy, part number MD-01. It works pretty well.

TB work was about 1200.

Spark plugs are Denso IKH01-24, one step colder.

I'll try to answer any questions I can!

Thanks Ron

I am looking into drain plug for next oil change.

Any details on the standalone F badge? It's something I've wanted to do since the LFA release.. For the Fenders.

Did you order up the 10th Anniversary "F" Courtesy Door Lamps yet??
If no, they are a must!!!

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rc-...rom-lexus.html

Also, did you know the original TMPS nut & air cap can be anodized as well.?

I had all mine redone in Gunmetal

Lexus finally fixed their 2008 mistake with the M Mode on the gate shifter..

But I understand why you needed to rewire it.. What are the plans for the + & - ?

I'm certain you can edit the underside.
