i was getting ready to do that. Both my cooler fins are beat up bad...
The front bumper comes off fairly easy but I guess the way you have it mounted, doesn’t really matter if it’s in front or behind the oem grill.

They are attached with a few nomex string ties. They’re hard to see from 5 ft and beyond, good enough for me

Installed my STATUS seat using Sparco base and brackets and my old Recaro sliders. Removed the seatbelt buckle wires from the stock harness and reconnected to body harness. Waiting for airbag resistor from Ming!

Did some semi-final touches on the seat install. Hooked up the airbag while I wait for some resistors.
Every warning light works! Airbag may come off once I get the resistor in but I just couldn’t wait to drive the car with the new seat. Awesome seat so far! Comfy enough and definitely 100% better than the factory seat as far as keeping me put during hard cornering.
I got some speaker box fabric and covered the airbag and the exposed floor board. Waiting for some more titanium fasteners for the base to floorboard mounting.

Airbags are highly overrated especially in track situations. Any decent safety expert will tell you adding energy to a bad situation will only lead to more bad, not more good. NHTSA has been lying to the public since Joan Claybrook said we could recover the cost of airbags by removing seat belts (anybody notice when that happened?). If it were my car I'd ditch the airbags completely, and yes, this is directly influenced by seeing my ex-wife's face after an airbag in a 1994 Supra punched her in the face harder than Mike Tyson and her entire face was purple. Oh, and to really bring it home, she was a woman of color. PURPLE. I have zero belief an airbag is there to make anything better and a lot of empirical and statistical evidence they're only there because an arrogant woman in charge of NHTSA under Jimmy Carter mandated them.

Got the resistor in and airbag is off. Also got some more titanium fasteners and replaced the seat bracket bolts and seatbelt buckle nut and bolt. Thanks to Mingofish for the resistors!

I have a few sources. Racetech Titanium, MeTTec, and Probolt USA are the three main ones.

New Steering wheel on the way. I'm also trying to get the matching forged carbon door switch panels and glove box cover panel.

Hahaha! I saw Elvin post that and I was thinking you would be interested.
It is very nice, especially if you get the rest of interior to match 💪

Yep! that's mine he posted a picture of
Keeping my fingers crossed on the other pieces, my contact in Japan said they are discontinued, but there's one dealer insisting that they can get them.
