The lower the better 18s look in my opinion

Correct. Your best bet would be to have a shop install a set of Tanabe DF210 springs. You'll be quite pleased.

buy coils instead, but judging by your comment about do you have to change the springs you are not that car savvy. you may want to do some research first

I'm aiming to get 18's on my GS300 so my answer is no. I think its the perfect combo of rim size and sidewall but you MUST lower your car or else it looks like a 4x4 and that goes for anytime you up the rim size.
