Default Airrex First Looks

Initially I was expecting them to come in with the usual blue color but surprised that it came in white because now it will match the car perfectly!

I was a little upset I never got a tracking number nor expected delivery date and also no signature confirmation... it sat outside all day waiting for the lucky come-up. Thankfully the delivery guy hid it away in a shaded covered area of porch.

My trunk tank/compressor setup should be ready in a few days.

Now just patiently waiting for install date!

Wow having them in white over blue is a huge bonus!

Yeah I was looking at photos of white version after the fact of purchasing and was thinking to myself... "damn I wish I knew about this in the first place but I was never given an option... oh wells". I guess my prayers were answered somehow!

LOL race not even. He's lightyears away and in the game way longer. In fact I guess he's beginning to be more an inspiration if anything.

They all come in white now. At some point last year Airrex changed the strut body color to white since there were knock-offs out there with blue strut bodies. Cosmetic change only

Default TPMS Pipe Bomb

I did this because I removed my spare tire.

Not going to turn it into a DIY because I referenced it from here so many thanks to it:

DIY - TPMS Canister/Pipe Bomb

However I did went a bit further and made these modifications:
  • Threaded screw-on end caps. (So if one day you want that TPMS back no need to hack it up)
  • Sanded down and semi-gloss black painted plus clear coat.

For some reason it looks so military-grade and rugged. It's not as dope looking as others but I just wanted the dash warning to go away and this would be in my trunk the whole time anyways.
