Clutch
The OS Giken clutch needs a modified push rod, and a different spring on the OEM slave cylinder. These parts wasnīt included when I bought it, so I had to order it from the U.S.

AC-system
The AC-system has caused a lot of work and cost me a bit of money. The ac-lines in the sc300 donor car had been cut. I hate the person who did it! I hope he gets cancer. It was really hard to find new parts. I knew early on that I had to use the supra condenser and merge it with the rest. Another complicating factor was that the donor SC300 was a -92 model, and had the old AC-system (R12). The AC compressor on the 1jz was R12 as well. I think that they changed to the new R134a system in -94 on the SCīs and that all the mkIV supras had it from start (-93)(?).
The condensers are totaly different on the sc and the supra. The supra one is smaller all over. Hence, I couldnīt use the SC parts here.
The cut ac lines from the sc300 donor chassie.
I found a set up of the long ac lines from a junkyard in the U.S. It was from a pre -94 (R12) SC400.
A soarer R12 AC hose + line, that goes between the ac compressor and the condenser. The connector to the condenser didnīt fit. I found a GS300 hose with the correct fitting (to the left). I canīt weld in Aluminium, so a mate helped me to merge them together
Soarer R12 hose/line modified with a R134a connector from a GS300, to fit the supra condersor.Hmmm.

Trunk
One of the goals has been to use as much as possible from the SC. I really wanted to use the complete sound system from the Lexus. This meant a bit of work, constructing a new speaker box, and fitting the CD-player into the trunk. CD-players are obsolete even in Sweden, but I chose to keep it anyway .
The adaption of the fuel pump/fuel sensors have been shown earlier in the thread. I allso had to do the folllowing modifications:
1) Extend the wiring for the antenna ( The RHD supra has the antenna on the right side)
2) Merge the Brake sensors with the SC-harness. The connectors didnīt fit , so I had to solder them together.
The SC antenna can not be used on the supra. Too big. SC antenna to the left. I used the little harness though, and hooked that up to the supra antenna.
Extending the wiring for the Antenna
Antenna in place. Here you can also see the new place for the CD player/woofer rack.

Engine Bay
The intake box is a modified Soarer tt box. The snorkel on top of the radiator is just for looks , since the soarer box has its air intake under the right head light, just like the SC.
So this is where the project is right now
Things left to do:
* adapt the wiring harness in the left door
* connect power to the supra drivers seat
* Install prop shaft and diff
*exhaust system
* install throttle cable
* install clutch line
* Install heater control valve (was missing on the SC-chassie, Iīve ordered a new one)
* install some other bits and pieces
Iīll post some updates later on.

How/what in the hell? I don't know what to say to this. Keep going? Well a lot of the hard work has been done so just keep at it. Man! I never would've thought someone would do this, not even in my crazy concoction days (middle/highschool). Well I guess when lhd supras start making it to the US more may attempt it. But there's always the "JDM" junkies who would want rhd just cuz it's kool.
