My New '02 IS300 (5MT) with 57,000 Miles
Hello Everyone-
I am new to the forum and new to Lexus ownership.
Had always wanted an IS with the manual trans and one came up for sale on AutoTrader back in September of 2015, but it was back in Maryland.
I saw it and after about a couple weeks of negotiating, we came to an agreement and I called a trucker and had it trucked out to Southern Cali.
He was the best kind of seller i could buy from. He was meticulous and it came off the truck sparkling with only 49,700 miles. He was the only owner and did all the mods except for the Defi gauges and HKS exhaust.
In the 6 months I've had it I've put about 6,000 miles on her.
Specs:
- HKS Carbon/Ti Axle-Back Exhaust
- Tein Comfort Flex Coilovers
- Stoptech Big Brake Kit
- 18" Staggered Volk GTS Wheels
- Blitz Drop-In Air Filter
- Defi Gauges (3 gauge cluster where Navi used to be)
- Thicker Front & Rear Swaybars
- ACT Clutch
- Lightened Flywheel
- Rod Millen Front Lip with Carbon Fiber Insert
- Rod Millen Side Skirts
She drives amazing and handles extremely well. I am hoping the Dizod Green Headers I just ordered will help with the straight-line speed lust i am currently experiencing. Over all very happy and can't wait to pick up a '94 or '95 MR2 Turbo to compliment her in the next year or two.
