The red ones are custom upholstery. Both seats are recaro sports or evo 8/9 seats.

The red seats are going in a black MKIV TT (assuming the body shop ever finishes painting it).

Took the SC to go get smogged yesterday.

Drove the car all weekend.

Friday:

Saturday, went to the Toyo tire x Super Street meet:

This te37 finish is amazing

I see this SC every year

After the meet, I met up with my friends

Sunday morning, met up with the whole crew at Carcadia, went to go eat, then cruised over to a supra meet.

My friend's cousin's Mini pick up truck

My god, I wish Denver got some of those big boy meets like you guys do there. Love the pictures and am filled with envy!

PS - that grey NSX and the dumped black SC make me feel some kinda special way....

It's definitely a perk of southern California car community. I'm 90% sure that my next project car will be a NSX. I've always been a honda fan boy at heart (my username reflects that).

That black SC is a bit more extreme than my style, but I respect the work that went into it.

It's a lot higher than the rest of the cars. He damage the bumper and fenders right after the car was painted, so the car is super high after the repair. We're looking into replacing the suspension with a fortune auto cup kit to eliminate this issue.

Plus the black MK4 next to it is the lowest car in the group shot.

I'm an ex-honda kid myself, and would too love to get my hands on an NSX eventually. I wish I would have been older 15-20 years ago to buy them up at 20-25k a piece and hold onto them.

Ceramic coated my 19" hre a couple weeks in preparation to get tires mounted.

Toying with the idea of throwing them on the rav4, only to find out the ceramic coating worked a little too well and the wheel weights fell off.

Sent out my friend's S2000 seats to get done by the same shop that did my interior

While the seats were there, I asked them to do another SC arm rest in black. They tried adding more padding underneath, but it just made the new leather skin stretch weird. Plus the stitching is all weird on this one. It's not nearly as nice as the cognac arm rest, but they did it for free, so I can't be too mad.

I let my friend borrow the SC for a couple weeks while I was out of town. I asked him to take it to a supra meet for me while I was gone.

I ordered a couple of new parts from the dealer last month, and finally went to go pick them up. I got a driver side door hinge

Also got the very last manual transmission tunnel.

Picked up some greddy mufflers for project soaristo (if any of you have been around long enough to remember what car that is)

Picked up some greddy magnetic drain bolts since I was already there.

Test fitting my seat brackets on my friend's seats before I go ahead and order them for him.

Project soaristo is a project I helped my friend with 8-10 years ago. The car has been sitting in storage and we're trying to bring it back to life.

This car was used for a lot of R&D for the SC community. The car was assembled by Full Race since they sent us a supra manifold and it didn't clear the shock tower with the EFR turbo (new at the time). We agreed to ship the car to full race and they used the car to develop their SC300 manifold. Aem also tuned the car if we agreed to upgrade to their Infinity stand alone (also new at the time), so they used the car to develop their SC harness and figure out issues for their tech support.

Picked up my door hinge from the painter. It's not the greatest work, but it's white now. I'll have to wait until this quarantine is over before I can get some help to install these.

Been working on old projects while stuck at home to clean out my garage. Finally sealed up these old headlights of mine, so they could go off to their new home.

Dropped everything off for my friend to work on his car:

He had the lights polished one more time and clear film installed on top

He also gave me some DND steering wheel setups to thank me for all the stuff

I loaned out my SC to a friend of mine, so he could do some diagnosing on his own.

In exchange for taking my car, he offered to let me take one of his. He offered me a supra or corvette, but my choice was his GMC sierra denali HD.

I took it straight to home depot. lol
