I'm still drooling over your interior - the car looks so good! Those are some wheels on my bucket list as well... I can't wait to see them on that white big body!!

The meisters were a big gamble for me since I've never seen these sizes in person. I ordered the wheels 1 size less aggressive compared to the usual SC spec meisters. I didn't know if it would look acceptable or would be ugly with such small lips. Luckily, they weren't that ugly when they arrived. lol

I'm debating which size tires I want to run on these. I may stick with my usual 245/40/18 and 275/35/18 that I run on the HRE, but I kind of want to try the 295/35/18 from the CCW in the rear.

Just went through the whole thread after seeing your post in the an Interior thread. Kudos for the attention to detail and persistence with the wheels. I have a set of CCW Classic Race in the garage that I damaged on my old RX-7. Your thread is going to help me immensely, once I buy an SC LMAO

I have been on the hunt for a good car for a couple months. I will reference your experience to have my CCW’s match your fitment. I think the Classics look great man. It is the de facto wheel for Supra’s and SC’s, in my view. Though, I must say the black or grey Advans you had were sexy AF. I reallllllyyyy liked those wheels.

I think a wheel like those Advans makes the car look newer, while the CCW’s make it clear it’s a 90’s car. Just different looks.

Great job dude!

Just to confirm, your final setup does not rub and you still have front fender liners right? Considering pulling the rears, wonder what your thoughts are?

Your build keeps getting better and better. I love how you have multiple sets of wheels for your SC. What are the sizes on the Meisters?

I don't have a passenger fender liner, I lost it many wheel setups ago. lol

The white car doesn't rub with factory arms since it has more camber. The black SC with the matte black CCW rubs occasionally because it has fully adjustable battle version arms which allow it to run -1.x degrees of camber. Both are shaved rears without pulling.

The size I ordered was 18x9.5+37 R disk, 18x10.5 +37 O disk

The size in the photos is 18x9.5+37 R disk, 18x9.5+37 O disk. Last Friday, I had my friend drop off the wheels at my tire shop. I got a phone call asking me which wheels were the front and which ones are the rear? I told them they're staggered it should be obvious. He proceeds to tell me they're not and sends me a bunch of pictures proving me wrong...

I contacted the person that ordered it for me and they apologized. They told me they would eat the cost of ordering me a new pair of wheels, but it'll take 6-8 more months, so I sold them earlier tonight since this set is useless to me.

Nick hit me up last week asking if I wanted to do cars and coffee. I had invited a few of my friends, and Nick asked if we could turn it into more of a SC thing, so I told everyone to drive a SC.

When we arrived, it was already packed upstairs since there were some youtubers there to put their cars on display

Your pictures are great. There is a lot of time, money, and pride of ownership represented there.

I'm kinda digging the black one with the fender flares. Gives it a really modern, aggressive look. Are those crazy wide tires (since the SC can already take quite a bit of rubber), or are they just pushed way out?

I think everyone in this photo has had their SC for 10 years or it has been 10 years since they had their first one.

No, his setup is super wide. I think its a 12 or 13" wide wheel with a 335 tire in the rear. The smallest rear tire in that group photo is probably a 265. His setup is so wide that it didn't fit under the vertex ridge widebody, so he added another fender flare on top of the ridge kit.

It's pretty hard to get all of us together these days. We've been talking about going to cars and coffee for months. lol

I’m getting closer to ordering my lips and barrels for my damaged Classic Race’s. Before I duplicate your setup, is there anything you would have changed? I think the stance is absolutely perfect by the way, but curious what you might do, given a “second chance”?

Thanks!

If I were to do it again, I would have gone narrower 18x9.5/10.5 or 18x10/11. The 11.5 rear limits the options for tires too much for my liking.

Who did you deal with at CCW? I’m dealing with a guy named Curtis who is like zero help. I want some advice on offsets/backspacing. I read that SC’s are 8.25” backspacing rear and 6.5” backspacing front. Your offsets aren’t quite in line with that, but maybe I’m missing something.

I wouldn’t mind doing 18x10/11 with 255/275 for cost/fitment/options.

Nick
