Yes most 2jz guys either pinch that pipe and tig weld it, attach a rubber hose and then use a long shank bolt with the threads cut off and clamped onto that, or I re-routed mine to the water pump; and blocked off the upper ports (not a water cooled turbo)

Dyno sheet is engine power, counted from 343whp, their dyno counts 9% powertrain loss. Every dynos are different i think. But even that yea, thanks dude!

343whp@16psi is a very good number! All of that hard work has paid off! How does the car feel now?

Thanks! It feels pretty quick and lovely because i have driven 100hp cars all the 4 year build time
Next step is annual registration inspection, its next monday. Hope it will pass tests and then i can only enjoy and drive!

Its nice to see reassuring dyno figures after a long build. Hope you pass the inspection with flying colors. My inspection guy had to rev the engine for several minutes to get the high-flow cat hot enough to pass the co2 test.

First summer is behind, drove only about 2000miles but had fun with the car. Not sure what mods next, time will tell..

Here is small 0-100kmh test

Hi guys! I have made few updates for the car. Cylinder bores were little off oem specs(some blowby on few cylinders) so i decided to do the engine completely. Havent done any engines before so it was nice to learn something new. Everything done just by following toyota repair manuals.
-new pistons cp 86,5mm
-new bearings acl standard
-plastigauge measurements were on the loose side 5-7 hundreds(0,05-0,07mm)
-crankshaft polished
-cylinder block bored/honed
-oem 1jz rods, straighten checked and small end bushings replaced oem
-all studs arp(main, rod and head)
-new oem 2jz oil squirters
-new oem 2jz gte oil pump
-new oem 1jz headgasket
-cylinder head overhauled with new stem seals and everything polished/cleaned and checked measurements are in oem specs
-new orc 559D twinplate clutch
Just done the work and get it safely running. Going dyno next spring 2023 and will now only do safely braking in driving..

Awesome upgrade - very cool to see you taking this on yourself! It's amazing what we can do when you've got a good manual to follow.

Winter 2022-2023 found myself a nice IS F so oldie SC300 didnt get much attention. Still almost minus degrees in nights and a lot of sand on the roads from the winter.. Did so many hours under the SC so I hesitate to drive it on bad weather or bad road conditions. Maybe next month the summer arrives here in Finland so I can take it for a drive and see is everything as fine as it was last summer. Until then I beat the hell out of the is f. Such a nice car and 10/10 daily.
