Wow! $3800 for a blk/blk 97 5-speed car is an awesome price. You should add your car (if you didn't already to Gerrb's list of 1 of 120 cars! you can tell if it is a factory 5 speed by looking at the VIN sticker on the driver's side. It will read "W58"

dang good deal ... looks good both in and out

can you give me the following info by looking at the sticker on the driver door jamb

Number found on the bottom of Door Tag , Production Month , VIN last 7 numbers , CL Member , Location

so we can add it to the 1 of 120 list .

Well looks like previous owner removed the sticker any other way of checking the prod month?

PM me the complete VIN number of your car . I will verify.

Did the previous owner say it was 1 of the 120 made in 1997 ?

Got it ! Thanks .

It is definitely a 1997 5speed 1 of 120 .. manufactured in May of 1997. I will add it to the list later when I have the chance. For the price you got that car , it was definitely a darn good deal for a 1 of 120 in very good condition both in and out.

Also repalced spark plug/wire, distributor rotor and cap and air filter.

Fogs and taillights will be replaced after I get a repaint. I want to keep the factory black but I'm also considering gunmetal grey.

I decided to do something to the extra set of tails I had.
And also painted the middle part of the grill black using Plastidip.
