I personally would not DIY without a hoist and air tools... and an extra pair of hands even. It was not fun

Yah I don't own any of those. I just enjoy doing mods myself because its pretty fun. How long did it take for you to get the sway bar in?

about 2.5 to 3 hrs from lifting the car up and dropping it back down, and that's with air tools, hoist, and a mechanic friend to help me out... dropping the rear sub-frame was really not fun.

those keyfob holders are only sold at local Japanese Lexus dealerships. The only other place that you could find them is on yahoo auctions japan, than use a proxy service to help you bid/buy and ship to you.

I use www.fromjapan.com
when you go on yahoo.co.jp search for "レクサス スマートキーケース 純正" which means "OEM Lexus Keyfob Holder), depending on model, new ones can get as much as $250US(snake skin material) before shipping and proxy fees, while ones that are made of lower grade leather goes for around $100US. The blue one I got was about $180US + shippings and fees.
Sometimes, Lexus owners who had one given to them when they bought their car will put them up for sale for a discount.

another thing you need to pay attention is that lexus has 3 keyfob types, you have to make sure you are buying the right one. Pictures on auction usually will show a back side of the holder, look for the patterns of buttons to tell if it will fit your keyfob. If you have other questions or need help, feel free to message me again.

TRD side skirts finally arrived, want to thank Steve from JapanTunedParts for helping source these for a reasonable price and super quick handling.

Got the TRD Front Lips as well as the LX-Mode headlight pieces clear filmed and installed. The exterior is now all complete

APEXi mid-pipe should arrive next week

no issues what so ever, since only 1 mounting bolt on the front mud flaps was part of mounting the front part of the side skits. OEM quality is awesome, comes with stickers to tell you where to drill holes on your stock side skirts, and the holes in the wheel wells on the skirt was pre-drilled and ready to go.

Default more LX-Mode Parts

Scored a set of used LX-Mode fog light covers used but mint condition on yahoo japan auctions for a good price... don't know if I like them thou..

But again, the head light part looked strange in my underground parking... will have to take them out again in day light and see again. Plus I'll want to clear film them anyways if I do decided to use them.

Wow.. Changes the entire look of the front end. How about fog covers but no headlight cover?

I'm a little torn on them.. some pictures looks fantastic, some looks strange..

I've found a few pics with and without the headlight covers:
(Mine doesn't have the LED part and is just painted gloss black (not CF)
