Love the subtle reflection of the wheel in the water. Amazing shot.

Few little updates:
Made some LED boards for the license plate because why not
(Ignore the dirty car as usual lol)

Got another pair of these Benz-style mirrors.
Had some red ones previously that I sold off. Was going to be the same fate with these, but decided to keep them.
Currently disassembled and sanded, waiting some time to paint them.

Also got these crystal clear dome light and rear interior lens replacements.
All LED bulbs and dome light provided by @skleds @skperformance on Instagram.

Also got some Garson DAD velvet frille curtains for the rear window to match the side windows. But that is for another time.

So a bushing was starting to give out and slightly damaged my fender. Was repairable, but I'd rather upgrade than fix it and keep it looking how it is.

Got some custom metal widened fenders with vents from @vip0ut_ls4oo, and @blvd.preston / @boulevardluxury helped a LOT with getting them shipped to me.
Knuckles from @tommy_konektedobs
NRCA - @iamdengman / @getfittedgarage
Other suspension, bearings, bushings parts from Rock Auto and OEM from the dealer.

So got my suspension parts on and aligned it best I could for now. Going to trailer it soon to a shop to align it before I can start bodywork.
Here's a before and after:

The fenders I received were poorly done, more bondo than metal. Cut off the old flares to redo it.
I bought some 2.5" aggressive taper flares from Ulterior Motives. Once we align it, I can fit the flare properly, trim more, then to welding and bodywork!

Now this is something I didn't think I'd ever have. After missing an opportunity to buy one set almost 2 years ago, didn't think I'll have one any time soon, if ever.
LS400 Garson DAD Opera Lights

My girlfriend spent quite some effort trying to find anyone that might have a set. She found someone all the way in Dubai that had a set which had came with his auction car from Japan. It was hard for him to part with it, much love Sulaiman!
This set even came with the equally rare optional lighting controller and clear light covers instead of some random funky colour like I've seen before.
If you don't know what all this is, it is a Garson DAD accessory that attached to the door pillars pointing a light to illuminate the headliner. I have attached a sample photo of what that looks like.

I'll get more photos once they're installed.
Thank you so much again to my girlfriend for the tireless effort to find it, and Sulaiman for parting with them.

Few changes to the interior.

Found the only roll of beige material I've ever seen after years of searching for Garson parts. Was bidding on it, but my girlfriend didn't want the opportunity to slip away and got it before I could. Was a wild ride.
Anyways, used it to replace the black parts on the Garson DAD center console and front table. Still have a lot left so might use it for other things later on.

Also beige Garson DAD TV headrests.

^ wow awesome progress here, and love the opera lights once installed! small touches like the crystal light lenses, and inner rear arm rests make this build super neat.
you make tan interiors look cool - totally a complement!

Thank you! I have seen your comments before, just never had the chance to say that I appreciate the support! Means a lot, thank you.

Currently working on re-doing the whole interior the same shade of tan as the seat covers so it wouldn't look so gross. LOTS of work ahead, but will get knocked out whenever I have free time!

This build is one of the wildest rides I've ever been on....
Like living in a dream. I love this car so much.
