Good to know. That was the first step I planned on taking until I saved up for headers and full exhaust. I have to drive to clients houses on occasion so I can’t have it too noticeable.
How did the motor mounts turn out? I know NVH will increase, but was it enough to make the car rattle or passengers notice? I’ve put motor mounts on almost all of my performance cars, but the last V8 was a push-rod Mustang, so I’ve not experienced a DOHC V8 with stiffer motormounts before.

I would expect the sound would be even louder paired with headers. Motor mounts still need to go in and will update thread with pics and thoughts when completed

Haha, good to know. I’m sure I’ll be able to keep out of it atleast until I’m around the block. I have no doubt I personally won’t mind. I went a whole year without a stereo in that same Mustang because it was cammed with full headers and catless exhaust. Was in no rush to have anything interrupt that lovely V8 sound.
