Default Takeda intake installed

I know most aftermarket intakes don't add alot power to our cars, but I had this lying around and decided to install. Also did a thorough cleaning inside stock airbox, MAF sensor and throttle body before installation
Initial testing does not reflect any more noise level than my Joe-Z intake tube and hi flow aFe panel filter. Tested on start-up and revving engine up through the powerband. A test drive will tell me more hopefully.
Look ma, No stickers!

Just my 2 cents, but this mod actually cost me hp, and caused a nasty spike in my AFR readings when I had it dyno'd.

Swapped back to HPS intake pipe and K&N panel filter with OEM airbox, gained 10hp, and corrected my AFR readings.

Each to their own, but thought I’d share my experience.

Loving the build otherwise though mate.

Yeah I just began testing yesterday. Went for a test run last night and my thoughts after an hour of driving were potential power loss down low and some gain up top. But this could be the placebo affect. I will more than likely go back to my JOE Z intake and panel filter if not saitisfied after a couple of days

What filters do most of us run? I need a new one I’m sure. I have HPS tube and stock box.

I went back to JoeZ intake tube and aFe Pro Panel filter. Some guys prefer the dry version though

I purchased it awhile back from a seller off Instagram. Sorry I don't recall sellers name, but I'm pretty sure he was out of Dominican Republic

Nice looking build, I also run TSWs for part of the year and have no issues.

Haven't completely decided on rubber, but leaning towards Ventus V12 Evo2. Had these on my last setup and really like them
