Almost 3 years without an update but wait no more. Long story short, my car is running AND tuned. (Finally)
Decided to scrap all the TT ecu stuff, piggy back and go standalone. Picked up an AEM V2 like 2 years ago. Lol. Life has been crazy the last 5 years for me so it was hard to prioritize car stuff. I graduated with a degree in accounting, got married, started a new business, had a kid last year, pandemic... Yeah you get the point.
I have to say I am pleased with how the car runs and pulls after being tuned. I have so many parts I didn't put in because of how eager I was to just get in on the road. (5 years almost). So bare with me... Enjoy the pics!

I'm tryna downsize the wheels to 18s so they'll be up for sale. I'm very happy.with the car, you don't know how long it's been since I enjoyed it!

Haven't updated in a while but been very active with the car. Just swapped out the steering rack this past week for a new oem MKIV Steering rack. I've read across these forums that it had a shorter ratio than the sc300 steering rack. It definitely feels as if that's true from first impressions.
Also threw in a new high pressure power steering hose in there while I was at it since that was leaking since forever. Lol.

The LHD USDM MKIV (I don't know about the UK or other European LHD versions or Canadian models) got a 17.3:1 steering rack ratio. The USDM SC300/400 for all model years got a 17.5:1 steering rack ratio. So it's technically shorter but only by a little bit. If you know how your car feels down to very fine details you probably will notice the subtle difference.

Still, it's nothing like the JDM Soarer's 16.5:1 steering rack or the UZZ32 Soarer's 14.5:1 steering rack (which only ever came on the 873 4WS cars). RHD only of course so it's not applicable to SC's. I'm not aware of what ratio the JDM Supra RHD cars came with.
