Project Osaka: 12' SFP on Red
Despite wanting to wait to start a build thread once I have done some mods and gotten the content I figured I might as well start now since I have the parts waiting around.
It was a long month and a half trying to get this particular car. As I was looking for IS-F's on Mannheim, this gem popped up. It literally fit all my criteria - 2012+, Starfire Pearl, No Sunroof. As many of you know the sunroof delete was a special order and there are little to none of them in the US so I was looking at a true unicorn. The red interior was just a bonus and, the car was owned by someone at TMS (Toyota Motor Sales) so the car was definitely in good hands. The auction was on 3/9/17 and unfortunately my broker lost as I did not have his number at the time to tell him to keep bidding. The car ended up going to New Jersey and I actively pursued it, calling the dealership almost everyday trying to buy the car before it left CA. Unfortunately the car ended up going back East, only for me to buy it and have it shipped back here

Car arrived in Los Angeles. Definitely dirty from transport but I washed it and decided to go to my typical late night shooting spot. Unfortunately someone stole my camera (rather I left it in a rental car a few days ago and the next person to rent didn't say anything about it) so these iPhone shots (post in PS) will have to do until my new DSLR comes:
I'll do my best to keep this thread high quality and to the point

I took the car to EAS (European Auto Source) in Anaheim, CA since I know Tom and Steve. Like I said I want to document this car as accurately as I can considering it is 100% stock. What better way than to get a dyno session in
Here's a video I made and the dyno sheet:
The car made some consistent power (if these numbers are really that accurate) but regardless I have a baseline for when I do any performance mods.

Ask and you shall receive:
It's SMG, keeping it that way for the foreseeable future since it came optioned with it and I have 2 pumps that I can keep switching out and repairing when one fails. Then again after driving the F I might want to make it 6MT haha.

I definitely love it wish they had done a brown interior though. She's got 71k on her and shows it on the front bumper (typical rock chips) but otherwise once I claybar and polish the car it will look new. The interior is in excellent condition.

One of the best combos for the E46. Hopefully i'll get a chance to add one in the furtue

Well like I said in the thread, my camera was stolen so pics are coming as soon as my new camera comes in haha. iPhone photos wouldn't do the interior justice so I'm waiting but trust, there will be solid content
I absolutely love it, gets looks all the time and I don't have WRX's and Civics trying to run me, I imagine because the color makes it look more classy than boy-racer. Pick one up if you can find one, only 116 produced world-wide.

Amazing find on the F. The FIGS parts will enhance the driving dynamics that much more on your F. And what a fine M you have as well. I'm biased towards that shade of green, something that I really like about the variety of colors BMW offered for its older lineup.
You're definitely local, so keep a look out for meets, shoots, cruises, and gatherings for not just the local IS F group but also F meets as well.

Yeah I wish Lexus offered some sort of Individual program or something, these cars would look great in an assortment of colors.
I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled, looking to get out there in the community for sure. Is there an FB group for all the SoCal guys? Or should I just refer to the regional forum on here?
I'd ultimately like to make it something in-between CCSP and M4 GTS. A really good street car that will perform on the track, and yes I intend to track this car.
