4 Degrees outside, nice and warm, raining, so decided to debadge the rear of my car. I knew there were holes behind the emblems but I like the cleaner look and I'm not trying to pose as a 350 or F. Going to figure out how to fill the holes after. If I'm successful I'll post my results after
Water might get in the holes, and cause rusting in-between the panel. IMO
Currently filling the holes, will update when it looks alright. I've tried small vinyl dots but they look terrible up close. Experimenting atm, finding a DIY method without bringing it into a body shop
Well here's my ghetto/cheap DIY fix for the holes. Filling it up with metal/all purpose glue and taking a touchup pen over it when it dries. Pic is before paint. It doesn't make it invisible but at least it prevents the trunk from rusting and I can gouge it out to replace the emblems if I ever sell the car
clean setup man. was thinking about getting some 19 inch wheels but your set up is making change my mind haha.
Thanks bro! I quite like 18s right now, they aren't so big so that my brakes are lost in the void but with the 5 spoke profile, it makes it look larger than it actually is depending on the angle - it kind of tricks your eyes with the spokes going to the edge of the rim. Personally think that 5 spoke, split 5 spoke, and the infamous TE37 6 spoke designs are my favorite. Such a classic design I don't know whether I want to get rid of them. I would recommend going a bit wider and a more aggressive offset in the rear though because my fitment is pretty bad right now lol

leaving holes might be better. That panel is plastic and basically an outer shell. I filled mine and touched up years ago and it’s more obvious than leaving hole imma finally have it professionally filled and painted when I drop my conversion bumper off

Yeah I filled mine with glue and put a bit of touchup for the moment. Going to have to go to a bodyshop to get them filled when I go to repaint my rear bumper and passenger rear fender arch ( me and my idiot driving backed into my cement garage wall)
yea man te37s are classics. theyre the first wheels i wanted to put on my integra back in the day lol. are all four of your wheels the same width or are they different in the front and back? ive been trying to educate myself on wheel fitment for 2is but the more i read the more indecisive i get haha.

square stance at the moment, looking to get wider wheels in the future for #fitment, but going to go for spacers in the mean time. Ideal square stance I've read and will follow will be 18x9 +35 rims all around with 235/40/18 tires for the front and maybe wider for the rear? not sure but I'm in the same boat looking to get good fitment but I'll never get low enough for true fitment low rider status. Lowest us AWD peeps can go is like 24.5 ground to fender before we start snapping CV axles.
