Hi,
i am waiting for lexus IS 2017 (facelift), and i want to solve my problem somehow. When we were testing/trying that car, my front passenger (not driver) has elbow pain because of cup holes. Is there any solution for that?
Can someone get dimensions of http://imgur.com/a/xAeQG ? like on image. Thank you
attached file just for imagination

There is no solution you can buy. However. The wrist wrest section is very easy to remove. If you were to pull this off and bring it a local leather place I'd bet you could delete the cups add some padding and leather for a small cost.
I saw one member here on a 14-16 fabricated a cover that fit inside the cup holders.

i though maybe some rectangle pad which would cover whole openable-pad with also cup holes, ofcourse with soft foam and cover with black leather, and on bottom side some anti-skid material. That's why i wanted dimensions.
advantages of this solution is to keep cup holes functional for some items. I didnt try it, but i would go for that.
combination of these three in attachments
