Eddie's 97 sc300 build
Not a new member, been on here for a while looking at you guys posts and builds trying to get different ideas for how I wanted my car to look and perform. Some of the older forum members have either sold there cars or moved on to something else but Scotturnot and Tlex down there in Florida really inspired me to do the swap. This is my 3rd lexus sc the first 2 were sc400 no mods just daily drivers. While I was contracting over seas in Iraq I came across a gentleman on the internet in St Petersburg Florida that was doing a lot of the SC swaps and he had lots of documentation and pics. I emailed him and the rest is history. I had my family ship him the car and motor and he got started. I have some pics to share with you guys. Its nothing crazy, over the top , chromed out 1200 hp or nothing like that. I was looking for a normal looking/driving sc that I could take on road trips and not have to worry about potholes and scraping. I just wanted to keep it simple. I just picked the sc up about a week ago and working out a few bugs on my own after the pickup. nothing major but the install is solid. The first build was finished in 2013. Fast forward to 2017 and the single turbo.
Tial wastegate
Kks blow off valve
big intercooler
67mm turbo
4inch downpipe no cat
super damper HB
factory ecu
factory fuel injector

Ive ordered the hood shocks they should be in next week. That hood is super heavy
and input and output speed sensors and transmission speed sensor.

I appreciate it sir. Nothing like what you have, Demetri and Gerrb have. I'm fixing it for my grandson. He grew up seeing the build and went on the long trips to first get it transplanted. More to come this summer.

Oh I certainly wouldn't say that! I'd say with a little bit of TLC that car is every bit as nice as mine. Mine's what I like to call - a ten footer! ha! I love that you're fixing it up for him. What a terrific learning experience and awesome reward. Can't wait to see more updates.
