So, as an immediate follow up to the original post, I got the wheels/tires installed today.

I really like them, but I think I am going to have them repainted completely gloss black.

Cheers

Default Update and a question

Hey all,

It's been a minute since I posted the last time. Lots of stuff happening. Some good, some not so good.

I got my wheels and tires in and installed. Then I ordered a Tien coilover set and now those are installed. New tail lights as well. Everything looks great. The car is about 2" lower than stock which makes it look just about right.
Stock Tail Lights
These look a lot better
Old vs. New.

Question: Does anyone make a set of the "black" headlights for the GS series with the factory Xenon lighting system? I found out the hard way today that the housings that I ordered don't support the xenon system.

Ok guys, I am looking for options. My car has factory Xenon headlights in it. There are no black aftermarket headlight fixtures out there for this car configuration that I can find. Short of putting window tint on the lenses, is there another way to darken up the appearance of these headlights?

You could paint the inner housing with vht I think it's called, it's like a spray on tint so your housing would be reflective just not as much and be a lot darker.
