Non-Fsport 2015 is250 build plans...seeking advice
Hey guys, I'm new to the Lexus gang. Recently traded in my lifted FJ cruiser for a 4 door with better gas mileage lol. There's give and take in making the switch, but I'm enjoying it.
im here seeking advice/counsel. I like what I have, but I want more pop to it: physically and performance. I do see that I'm in the minority with the fact that mine is not a F-Sport. From what I've found most of the body notifications are fit for F-Sports. I ant an aggressive yet classy look, nothing over the top.
Forgive me in advance, I'm still learning car language.
Here's what I've done in the 2 weeks I've had this car:
15% tint
I will wrap roof black this weekend. Glossy black
Here's what I want to do:
Body:
I thank you all in advance for the help and counsel! I look forward to hearing what you all have got to say!
heres my whip as of 9/19/17. I will keep updating

Body:
- chrome delete
- rear skinny black spoiler---suggestions?
- Wrap mirrors black--Still contemplating
- front lip?--what fits non fsport?
- rear diffuser---looking for aggressive yet classy one
- rims, black-glossy, size 19/20 and fatter tires and
- possible lowering if I did nothing crazy don't like the hanging over the tire look.
- does anyone know if I can do halos to the headlights?
- Cold air intake- which?
- Cat back exhaust- best bang for buck that gives that nice deep growl and doesn't sound like a tuned up Honda?
- Performance chip???
- other suggestions? I know more about the physical than the underlying aspects of cars
I thank you all in advance for the help and counsel! I look forward to hearing what you all have got to say!

Welcome to the Club! I have a 2014 IS250 non F sport as well xD (Nebula Grey)
You have a good list to start! I definitely agree don't drop it a ton. I hate that totally bagged look. Too much rice for me xD. I haven't done much to my car performance wise yet since I've only had the car for about 2 months. But I have done some things aesthetically. Like Carbon wrapping interior trim. Upgrading interior lighting. (I chose blue personally)
I would definitely do a chrome delete! Plasti dip the embalems for sure and the chrome if you trust yourself. Not that hard to do embalems at all tho. Any YouTube vid will show you how. if you don't want to plasti dip it then just have it wrapped. I wouldn't blackout the mirrors if your trying to keep it mean yet classy. When people do the mirrors it looks awesome but it takes all the class away personally. But I would do the roof. As for rims get something like the Savini BM12s in gloss black! Or my personal favorite Verde Axis black rims.
For intake I would upgrade to the F sport air intake or go with takeda, Joe Z etc depending on whether you mine oiling it every so often. I'm not sure about the halo lights but here's a link to a thread about it. I saw it awhile back. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-3rd-gen-2014-present/727067-14-is350-full-led-headlights-opened-it-did-some-custom-paint-and-led-work.html
Heres a few pics of my ride currently and the day I got it. Don't mean to jack your thread. Just giving you some ideas and inspiration.

Nice! I'm in the same boat, except my car is black. Plasti dipping my emblems today. I just had it lowered on RSR down springs with H&R spacers (20 mm in front, 15 in back). Planning to chrome delete soon as well. Thinking of F sport intake.
Another cheap DIY mod: paint your calipers? I might do this at some point too.
Good luck with your build!
