Mik's LS430 feat. G-Answer, Bazreia and MY DIY BBK
Hi all.. My name is Mik. I’ve been in Clublexus for sometime, but haven’t really post a lot. Anyway, I’ve been wanting to get VIP platform car and I’ve always wanted LS430. Obviously, I want to get the car functional since this is my DD car. Before this car, I used to have Celica. Kept on changing wheels, from Volk CE28N, Advan RG, Iforged and later got work Meister S1.
I also build VIP theme corolla long time ago in my country, Indonesia.

My goal on this build:1. As aggressive, wide and deep lip as possible without doing major body work on the fender. I think fitment is my main goal on this car. Wheel flushness, camber, caster and BBK clearance are some of my main point. From my experience and research, with minimal mods, you can fit 20x12 on the rear of LS430, and I guess it works. 2. I like DIY, and I want to use my skill and vision into this build. I am not a mechanic or someone with car skill, but I like to save money (who’s not right?) so I learned some skills and applying on the car. As an example, I like BBK on a car, but since it will cost over $4,000 to get BBK for LS430, I use my vision and my DIY skills, and I guess it’s a success. I am hoping I am the first and the only one who’s done this mods. To make it even better, I did this for less than $500.
Anyway, without further ado, below some pictures and specs.
Bought the car June 2015. Look like this:
Month later, 4” exhaust tip (later replaced with 4.5”)
6 months later, I decided to lower the car.
Specs:
As of July 2016:Exterior
- Kranze Vishunu 19x10 and 19x11
- Achilles ATR 235/35/19 and 245/35/19.
- Project Kics R26 Neo Chrome.
- Tanabe DF210
- Flowmaster 4” exhaust tip
- Osram CBI
- Megan, rear lower traction, camber and toe arms
- Megan 30mm RCA
Rebuild Kranze vishunu. 19x10 +22 and 19x11 +25. 3” and 4” lips.
For those who ask what’s the a good spec for ls430, get 11+25 on your rear. With OEM arms, this what you get. ZERO rub. Its about -2.8 camber.
After alignment and which bring the rear camber to about -2 degree (which is within recommended spec) I took some pictures.

- Custom 4.5” exhaust tip

On June 2017, I finished my BBK project. After a year of researching and testing, I could proudly say that its done. I’ve created my first invention. Caliper was painted with VHT burnt copper. Looks really good with black car. I also made sure the brake fitment is perfect with the wheel face. The clearance is pretty tight.
I got Lexus decal and take some pics.
Then air management arrived.
First test.

Looks good!
good thing you went with air! Because the springs with the lowering brackets didn’t do the job for your build. I learned the hard way as well on my first LS. I did the tanabe NF and youzealand fr and rears. Rode super smooth but still had the gap that I couldn’t deal with

Your build is incredible! I love the way everything looks on it. I had a few questions for you as I want to change my look to something like yours:
-How did you manage to get such an aggressive fitment in the rear on your first set of wheels? I run a 20x10.5 +23 with a 255/35/20 tire and it rubs constantly. I never knew you could get so much camber in the rear on stock arms.
-How did you do that color flicker mod? That looks awesome!
-Where did you find the G-Answer lip kit? I've been trying to find one for a few years but never see them for sale.
