Haha Nick you certainly have your hands full!! I've had plenty of fun cars, done swaps, endless mods, etc. At the end of the day we're lucky to have the means to have anything fun to tinker with at all! And who knows - one day a true "dream build" may not be as far as it may seem.
Happy cruising you guys!

When we do get them all done, we’ll have to go to that national meet we were talking about doing!
Nick

The red SC is cruising right along and driving like a dream!
I stumbled across this photo of my old SC400 the other day. This was on a road trip to Vegas with three of my best friends crammed in that little coupe with me. We used to drive out to Vegas every year for a car show called "Wuste Fest". It was a big euro show (a lot of my car friends were/are big VW/Audi guys) but I was always sure to arrive in something Japanese to irritate my friends lol. I sold this car to buy an E36 M3 8-9 years ago and always regretted it. I wanted something sportier and back then the manual swaps weren't as cookie cutter as they are now. That SC4 was a beauty - I bought if off the second owner with only 56k miles on it. It took a bit to get it caught up on maintenance but nothing beat hearing that 1uz purr and the feeling of cruising that big body coupe. Thought you guys might enjoy a little flashback today!

I think most realize how much fun and bullet proof they are by now.
Love the flash back Rudy

Thanks for the awesome comments you guys. It made me giddy to share this car and that experience with fellow SC lovers. These cars are truly special and I sure love logging in here and being able to share my love for them with all of you - and vice versa!
The red SC is running like a champ (I'm staring at it out of my office window as we speak). The Cressida is a bit stale at the moment lol. I've been having problems finding parts like window regulators, switches, etc as the windows are all slowly starting to fail. I also can't find a piece of windshield glass anywhere in the country for it. To top it off, the pass side hood hinge has cracked and split apart - can't manage to find one of those either at the moment. Doh! So for now I've just got it sitting in the driveway and am contemplating what I'd like to do with it. My wife bought it for me as a bit of a gag gift for my 30th birthday during covid. She knew it would keep me busy and be a fun project and it certainly has been that! However, with owning the business and the usual runaround of life I'm having a hard time making the time to come up with solutions to all the problems of having a car like this where parts are so hard to find.
Who knows - I may sell it, may keep it, or may just cut the roof off and solve all my window problems and have a bit of a "parade car" that just gets driven to friends' houses, parties, etc haha. We shall see!
Happy cruising out there guys.
