The interior looks so good Rudy! And I love the Nardi (correct?) wood rimmed steering wheel!

Regarding door cards, for what it's worth both of mine were in terrible deteriorating condition when I bought my SC in 2010. At least the parts that protrude were. The rear section that the protrusions bolt onto were in good shape. One of the first things I did at that time was buy brand new tan door card protrusion sections for each side (and at full Lexus dealership price... ).

I didn't get around to re-upholstering the door arm rests until later though. If you plan to do that, the upholstery shop should be able to do a near spot on match to the original color leather with code "GL603 Ivory" from their supplier. You can always get those original pieces custom re-covered.

I think the best thing will be to hunt around ebay or possibly at any wrecking yards in case better condition door cards may pop up.

I will say though... from your pictures I feel your interior door panels look to be in pretty solid condition!

Kahn - I sure appreciate it! And yep - it's a Nardi (used my work CC points to buy it LOL).

Door cards are tough... Mine are clean, but, they're cracked and just starting to fall apart in various places (the driver side where the window switch panel sits is really bad). I look around now and again and who knows, maybe I can drop them off with an upholsterer at some point and get them fixed up!

Thanks for the nice comments guys. I've been driving this car to work every day I can since getting it tuned. Can't wait to check it over and get it out on some canyon runs this year. I may stop taking this car to the road course here in town for now... It's just SO hard on this thing and I'd rather buy a beater track car/toy in the future to get that stuff out of my system as opposed to continue to beat the living you know what out of this thing lol.

Enjoy the sounds of our people!

Stopped by my friend's shop (ATLR) here in town and got bullied into showing off a little bit... My rear tires were already toast so who doesn't love a good excuse to finish them off a bit!

Hey Nick, ha! I love acting a fool in this thing when I get a chance. I installed a KAAZ 2-way clutch type and I've been smitten by it ever since!

Nice. Any downsides? You always hear people talk about low speed chatter and whatnot. Curious of your impressions. I was leaning towards the 1.5 way OS Giken for that very reason. Would like multiple options!

Nice burnout, Rudy!! The torque really comes on early with the stock twins! You're making me want to get my car back up and running so badly with your video!

Nick-- Kaaz makes a 1.5-Way "Quiet" version as well as their 2-Way. The OS Giken 1.5-Way Super Lock is considered the best road race LSD. I believe it can also be set up as a 2-Way. It is supposed to be very quiet provided you use OS Giken's own OS250R gear oil which is what they base all their LSD designs around.

Nick - the only downside I've found so far is that I'll get a some low-speed chatter ONLY if I don't use the KAAZ fluid. I've tried a few other fluids (including some nice Motul LS), however, I get some chatter if I use anything but the KAAZ fluid. Otherwise, it's been the best bang for the buck so far out of all of the mods I've done to this car! I went a little on the cheaper side compared to the OS Giken - you can't go wrong there of course.

Kahn - thank you sir! This thing just runs and sounds awesome. Youtube lost some of the sound on the upload, but man, this kitten is purrin' lol. I can't wait to see you out enjoying yours this summer!

I haven't been as active on here as I'd like to be, but between my beautiful baby girl, house, business, wife, etc it's awfully hard to make time for the little things these days. But, I certainly am not complaining! Life around here is good. Our baby girl is happy and healthy, and the SC is back to getting regular use with the nice weather and new standalone set up. As you can see, she's loaded up a bit differently these days lol. But lil Rebel loves riding in it and a car seat fits oh so perfect in these little useless back seats lol.

Hope you guys are well and enjoying your lives (and your SC's)!

I sure appreciate it everyone - I'm a very lucky guy and I try to remind myself of that every day!

Went on another adventure - did a drift lesson day here at IMI Speedway with Colorado Drift Rentals. Rented a 350z for a day and got instruction from a local pro-drifter. Absolutely out of this world experience and got a pretty good hang of it the first day out. I might just have to save up for a beater missile car next year... haha!
