I read that our cars also have sensors that determine how close the seats are to the airbags, which controls how fast the airbags deploy. Does anyone know if that is correct, and what results from removing that sensor?
Did you hard mount the passenger seat or use a slider?

Do you have to cut into the seat to get to the occupancy mat?

5ltrv8, can you please double check on your resistor? From the color of your resistor that would be 2.2k ohm not 2.2 ohm. From the picture, I see (red, red, red, gold) . Please confirm and thank you!
Here is the link to resistor

Hey Nick! I really appreciate the kind words😊. I had done a lot of reading about the endplates prior to going with the Singular plates, but I hadn’t seen this white paper, so thanks!
I look forward to seeing your track upgrades as well.
For the spoiler, there wasn’t too much reinforcing that had to be done due to the design of the trunk lid. I used large washers to help reinforce the mounting points, but I can say it works flawlessly at speeds upward of 140mph. I am going to snug all of the bolts down during the off season, so I will take some pictures when I do if the mounting points🏎
Mine came w/the "universal" 29.5" riser spacing, which appears similar to yours... Mind checking? If not, I might sandwich the trunk lid underneath w/~4x8" aluminum plates and a ton of construction adhesive to be safe.

Very nice build👌 And I followed on insta as well. I like that comment on all bad ISFs are in Ohio. I wanted one while I lived there in Columbus most of my life but got deployed out to Cali so then I really got my hands on one cause they are in the numbers out here. Still not common but more here being sold then anywhere. I got a super nice build in mind as well coming back from this overseas deployment. Might hit you up a couple times on insta for thoughts as well since I’ll be tracking mine. One question I had was where do you buy those end plates as when I went to baero it won’t let me drop down there menu to see if they sell them??
