Default Slammed 07 IS350

Hey guys,

Guess i'd go ahead and chronicle my simple build.

Here's the car completely stock. I picked it up around the end of July. It's a 2007 IS350 X-package and had about 113k miles on it.

I was able to pick up some BC coilovers used for <$500 at the beginning of August, but never had the time to install for two months.

I didn't get the chance to take pictures while I was installing the BC coilovers, but I didn't run into any major problems. Took about a hour and a half to get them done.
Shortly after installation, I picked up a set of Vordoven Forme 9's (19x9.5 +22).

Here's a picture of me at the tire shop, test fitting the fronts.

I then proceeded to slap the wheels on and set the BC's to a even lower height, but I ran into some serious rubbing issues in the front due to a bumper tab sticking out.

This is how the car sits currently.
I know for a lot of people this is already pretty low, but I'm just looking to match the front tire gap with the rear. The problem is, I can't even go a half inch lower on the front or else my tires will be having bumper tab for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I've already relocated the bumper tab about two inches farther back by drilling a new hole, using a zip tie to secure it, and hammering the protuding metal, but I still can't clear it (when i'm about a half inch lower in the front that is).

On a side note, I'm quite happy that the natural camber after lowering was just enough to fit both the rears and fronts. I believe there's about 2-3 degrees all around.

Future plans:
-Fix fitment
-Install rear diffuser I have lying around
-Ings +1 front lip?
-paint correction / headlight restoration

SGM FTW!

Get yourself an aftermarket grill. The factory one with the vertical lines just don't complement the car at all in my mind.

Cleaned the Headlights and fixed my rubbing issue, so fixed wheel gap in the front!

I'm having problems uploading pictures, so here's a link to one!

Car looks great! SGM represent! lol.

I'm jealous how clean your OEM wheels look. My X Package wheels were curbed to hell by previous owner and they were chromed -_-.
