Hello,
This isnt exactly a great "update" as you can see from the images below - I was on a "new highway" and unfortunately hit a huge pot hole (and I no I was not able to change lanes due to traffic).
I am still shopping around to get it fixed, but does anyone think hitting it with a rubber mallet + heat could work?
Thanks,
Yann

Damn that sucks man!
I've heard good things about Wheel Wizard in Chamblee an also alloy wheel repair near duluth, I would have them or some other quality shop take a look.
Those wheels are too nice to try and diy a hit like that...
it's not super bad though, definitely fixable

To get it hot enough to get jt to do much of anything you'd want to remove the tire too and even then its only going to be a temporary repair as you're not going to be able to get it back to how it was.

Hey all,
Appreciate the feedback! Honestly no update, my wife and I have been house hunting and been having to share the LS430 due to her 09 jetta being dead - typical vw fashion, bunch of codes, engine light on, EPC etc... I'll be working on it soon!
I'll get the wheel repaired ASAP when things calm down as it pains me to see my wheel so damaged!
Happy thanksgiving fellow CL members & stay safe!

This is helpful!
I got my new wheels and trying to keep them as close to your specs as possible since the look is perfect.
did you buy the tires from Global too, or did they just mount etc.?
Thanks!!
Also, any luck fixing your wheel?

What wheels did you get? I did buy the tires from global as well as have them do the aligment.
Once my wife and I are settled in our new house (i'll have a garage) I will get the wheel fixed.

ESR CS11. They had some knockoffs that looked similar to yours but ended up with what I could get on sale for black friday!
Good luck with the house! Depending where you end up you can come help me with my car 😁
