Update - Interior Carpet
Hello !
Little update - I finally found a black carpet from a local guy in atlanta. The carpet came out of an 03 UL and I am glad to say that it fit with no issues.
The tasks itself wasnt that hard, just time consuming (Especially waiting for the carpet to fully dry)
A few pictures:
I vacuumed it once before pressure washing it as it smelled of cigarettes and fruity air fresheners (too strong)
Pressure washed it after soaking it with some carpet/stain/odor remover from home depot.
Disassembled the whole interior, seats, center console, glove box etc...
bye bye tan carpet!
New black carpet in:
Interior all put back together:
I am very happy with the outcome and makes the interior so much nicer!
The final step with be to either wrap the headliner, dye or paint it! (black to match the rest of the interior).

I really love your vision for the car and the direction you've taken. Doing the interior swap is a huge project and you've done a stellar job on it!

I'm in GA too and would love to check out your car someday. I'm doing really just suspension for handling and intend on changing the seats to the "brownish gray" color when I find a set (or having them redone to match the upper dash). Currently have the horrendous "white-ish" seats. Don't mind everything else being that color but the seats are like polished boot leather... barf.
Found a set of seats but I'd have to drive 10 hours to get them (one way) and I doubt the whole set would fit in the car with the current seats in place, haha.

I'm in GA too and would love to check out your car someday. Seats are really easy to change, 4 bolts and some connectors. They are just super heavy and therefore a pain to get out of the car. I’m Always available if you need help with your LS!
