Pittsy's 2015 RC350 Build
#226
Did a lot of maintenance this weekend, since I am still driving the car. Rotated the tires. Because of the Supercharger and my love of downshifting, I kept blowing a lot of oil vapor out of the valve cover breather, since the SC piping doesn't include a bung to recirculate it(This is a good thing, except now everything on top of my valve cover gets soaked with oil). Bought a new CF lip and installed it, fixed as door panel rattle on both sides, and installed a second catch can for the passenger side valve cover. The catch can has a relief vent which I relocated to behind the crash bar, where hopefully a lot of turbulent air will mix it up and I won't smell it in the cabin after hard driving. Reinstalled the fire extinguisher onto the cage too. Replaced the supercharger belt. Had the midpipe resonators cut out AGAIN and some bigger vibrants put in. Also replaced the oem exhaust hangers with some stiffer poly ones. Ordered a new exhaust valve for the passenger side as well. Lots of minor things but they were adding up.

Well this marks the end of this build thread. Traded the car into Carmax of Scottsdale on a 2022 Lexus IS500 Launch Edition. It was fun. I'll probably regret selling the car, especially after I see who the new owner is, lol.

Thanks!
I appreciate it. And not a problem, When I first bought my RC 5 years ago, this side of the forum was super active and people were around to answer my questions. Today, this side of the forum is dead, so if I'm able to help out I do.
