Originally my plan is to send my pumpkin to figs for the install , i have no more time to experiment this thing. Until yesterday a friend refer me to Tritec shop in San Ramon. Seems like the tech knows what he is talking and they are tranmission specialist. He ask me minimum of $250 to max$400 labor depending if they need to shims it. Any advice? Dont know about tunning this thing.

So far, no one has had to re-shim for the Giken spool. My dad checked mine and called it racer perfect. He'd done a whole lot of them over his 79 years.

So the Giken unit fits perfectly? I wonder if my 08 350 has the same pumpkin as the ISF. That car needs more traction just for daily driving. I thought the pumpkin needed modified.

The spools are the same, but regardless, there is a Giken spool for the 350 as well.
What size tires are you using? Looks like it’s gonna be fast. Hopefully you can hang with your son.
The Bfgoodrich R1 285/30/18. They said has more life than the RE71R.
I will change my radiator, surged fuel tank pump and upgrade my tramission oil cooler before going that TypeR time.
No shimming necessary? The gear engagement looks racer perfect. Just a bit forward of center.
He said no shims necessary, he said he made it tightier for track application. Actually i dont have any idea about what he is saying lol.
