Does the upgraded impeller give you better performance with your supercharger? In assuming boost the same unless pulley size is changed, but pretty ignorant on the superchargers.

<Hijack> As far as the 4th gen space, plenty roomy for my family. Only minor gripe I have is headroom. My head doesn't rub the roof, but it's close and I'm only about 6' tall. About the same as the GS. If you go with a Lexus GX you will get better headroom. There are pros and cons to each. About 6 years ago I found a low mile 3rd gen 5 speed with a locking rear diff (rare) and bought it intending to build it and sell the 4th gen. But after driving the 3rd gen to work for a few weeks, I changed my mind, kept the 4th gen and built it. Not hating on the 3rds (I owned one for a few years in early 2000s) but the refinement of the 4th gen platform is miles ahead. <end hijack>.
I kinda went with my gut and just connected the air bags in. I don’t recommend any one do this. And if you do it’s at your own risk but, the connections were the same and even the wire color was the same. the ABS system is has not thrown any codes.

The SC needed a rebuild/upgrade so I opted for an upgraded impeller since I was already in there. It’s supposed to beef up the middle to top end on the RPM band. I have to go back and look. Too many things to keep track of..lol

Some more progress/upgrades for the summer.
Demon eyes added to the headlights and fog lights.
Very kool lights. Light type and color output is fully customizable via Bluetooth.
They definately were worth the time and effort it took to install them.

Tried to find a Vertex bumper for a decent price, you know that wasnt happening So, I got this piece of **** bumper from eBay, (Yes another replica, sorry again..lol). and molded it to the top half of an extra OEM bumper that I had and here is the end result. Not perfect but acceptable. My body work skills..meh, passable until I can get the car professionally painted.

Thank you sir.
I was never gonna find a vertex bumper in time let alone for a decent price so I tried my hand at making my own. Only thing left for this hack up is wet sanding..lol

Back at it. Short summer but lots work on the GS as usual.
I’m really diggin how things are coming out. The 275’s in the rear with the fender flares look mean.
trying to dial in this suspension. What a pain in the ***.
However,

Tired of being quiet, cut out the stock resonators. Added motorized cut outs for when I wanna go loud at will. Playing too many exhaust games; first I switched out the RMM axle backs for TRDs but hated the TRD exhaust tips. Went back to RMM and ran into a problem with the rear of the RMM’s rubbing against the TOM’s rear braces. Switched back to TRD but cut off and replaced the tips with something that looks way better.
let’s see where this rabbit hole goes..

And there it is, start to finish. Complete with turndowns for the cut outs. This **** was a pain in the *** with all the test fitting and making sure everything lined up straight. No to figure out how to post a sound clip on here…lol

Working on these side skirts soon.,
still have some rubbing issues but I think I will have that worked out with out reducing the rear spacer widths. If I have to go down a few mm’s fine but I’m not trying to do that unless I have to. I love the current look. Trying to get my height and suspension worked out so I can finally get this thing re-aligned.
Pro tip: if you upgrade to adjustable track arms make sure they are adjusted so the wheel is centered in the wheel well. Learned that one the hard way.

H

Here’s another shot at a different angle.
So far everything is working out (for now..lol)
only issue I’m dealing with is a TPS circuit A performance problem. Not sure if it’s the wiring. hopefully it is and not the ECM that I had rebuilt 5 month ago.
Aside from that She runs good. Learning how to datalog and adjust trims etc. I must be doing something right because I don’t have an excess fuel smell anymore 😁. So far no detonation and have taken a few precautions to make sure.
The cut outs and the new muffler configuration sounds awesome. I can adjust the exhaust note and get a different sound on just cracked or full blast. It’s great. And the best part, no drone. None, nada.
