Default ICONYQ 95 Sc300 2JZGTE - Back from the Dead

So 5 years ago I was running, had an oil leak from a bolt in the block ( closing up a port from the Single Turbo conversion) and took her down. She has sat for 5 years as life took over and now the itch is back to get her running. I will be working on her slowly and getting the details all hammered out as I go. Here is the build thread I started way back SC300 GTE R154 S366 4" Exhaust

Items I am looking for right now
1200cc Injectors. 14mm top and bottom and ~63.5mm tall <--this is what the Ross Machine Rail is spec'd to
T4 manifold - I have one but was looking at potentially putting on a nice used one for this go round. I will be upgrading the 366 due to final HP goals
Cams - debating what size I want to go and if I want to do the full port/polish/5 angle.......

Need to clean the engine real well, polish it up, replace a couple components that I could pretty up. This weekend I will get her all cleaned up and start pushing ahead. Goal is to have engine back in by the end March and then start the fuel system all over again...we will see.

Engine
Stock GTE longblock all gaskets and waterpump/thermostat refreshed
BW S366 -3 feed -10 return
46mm Tial WG

Aluminum Radiator with IS350 fans

15gal Speedmasters Fuel Cell

Exhaust
4" DP/MP
4" Y pipe
4" dual Vibrant mufflers
Energy Suspension End links mounted as hanger

DriveTrain
R154 converted from Auto
RPS 6 puck
RPS 3000lb PP
Drift Motion 3.5" driveshaft w/ 1" SS adapter

Electronics
AEM v2 (IAT, MAP, APexi Boost)
Self made harness (reduced many wires and rerouted to clean up engine bay)
AEM Digital A/F gauge with probe
Fuse box relocation to trunk
Battery relocation to tire well

Suspension /Brakes
Every control arm and rod replaced with stock - other than supra control arms
Megan coilovers
Supra TT rear sway bar
DM Solid Steering rack bushings

Here is the current sadness:

Someone is dirty

Wow 2 years!!! time has flown. So I started to put parts together and then got tired of not having a shop and then built one. Still building it but got the spray foam done yesterday and waiting for the door to come in. A LOT of changes.

- Swapped out the intake as there were many issues. I am putting on a sheet metal for now and will worry about upgrading it later. The idea is GET IT RUNNING
- 1200CC injectors
- Custom Fuel tank lid with Electric passthrough
- back to stock tank and found a brand-new tank in salvage yard
- short shifter with 2.5" extension on shifter housing - awaiting this right now
- DM R154 spacers and transmission mount
- all new fuel lines with dual filters
- dual walbro pumps
-Z06 front calipers, CTS-V rear calipers, ISF rotors, all new pads and seals - powdercoated Smurf illusion
- HRE 845r Wheels

I will continue to update this as I go. The goal is to have her running again by the end of August.

You're off to a great start on rebuilding this thing man! Stoked to see progress (and I'm super envious of that brake set up!).

Wow! A very cool resurrection is afoot! Congratulations on that new workshop/garage as well! That's definitely a big help for projects like these!

Also, nice Z32 you have in there!

thanks guys...it is going well this time around. Heading out for 2 weeks and then back at it to get her running. All the parts are rolling in and then it will be some long nights.

The Z32 is under construction right now as well. This is my 5th one, it is how I got into working and building cars. Gas tank was rusted so I pulled that and rebuilding the whole rear subframe as well. Did a TT swap on the rear subframe and HICAS elimination since no pump - which is why I wanted the NA body. It has solid bushings now and all new arms and rods. Coil overs waiting to go as well. When I am done it will be 5-700RWHP on this one. Oh and interior stripped and auto dropped for the 5 spd swap and black interior. I promised myself to get the Lexus running first though!!
