Default SC400 CD009 swap drift build

Brand new to Lexus picked this 92 sc400 for 200.00 guy I bought it from was gonna scrap the car.





Plan is weld the rear diff, CD009 swap
and strip the rear.

Currently prepping the car for paint or wrap will be buying KBD 50mm rear overfenders the body needs some attention clear coat is peeling during this process I’m shaving the trunk/antenna.

Rainy day ain’t gonna stop me cut some pieces for the trunk/antenna

currently waiting for the ferry going to pick up rear glass for the car.

I know Lexus discontinues the rear glass for our cars, did you just cut it out with the rear pillar?
Are you planning on rewearing that or separating the glass from metal?

Picked this this one up for 40 bucks on offer up
which is cheep everyone else was asking 100+ for rear glass just gotta look around. I’m gonna have it installed at a professional glass place and but that’s gonna be after I get a cage built

Whoever is going to install it, I don’t care how professional installer is, there is a great possibility it would shatter saparating it.
its a very involved job and they have to be very careful, because they’re easy to brake.
I hope everything goes smooth and you get it installed without any glitches!
