Well i am officially scrapping the idea of using the GTE piston block and just using mine because i know of its origins and it seems super uncommon to install a GE head on top of GTE pistons while possible requiring a lot of detail and math. I am going with the tried and true NA-T using TT head gasket on my now 100k GE. I just rolled 100,000 on Tuesday so my build will begin soon! ECUMaster is almost delivered so that'll be fun to play with. Maybe ill hook it up and see how spot on the wiring is for the plug and play.
Couple pics for yall, my car is 5mt so ignore the cluster haha. Maybe ill sell my 1/120 Ecu someday.

I think for the oil feed i might pick up one of these fancy adaptors i found:
this is 1/8 BPST to -4 or -3 AN Male and the top port is 1/8 NPT which can be used for oil pressure gauge.
I might just have to run a 90 at the end of it or maybe i can get away with it straight we'll see, might just need to make my own -3 line.

She's an absolute beauty! And thank you for the compliment. Mine's what I like to call a 10-footer haha. It's had a rough life before me I think, but it's been an absolute gem. Keep up the good work.

Ordered GTX3582r 1.06AR, friends talked me into a slightly larger turbo than i initially intended.
I think one of my tensioners is going and im not sure if its the tbelt or serp belt so i'm done driving it. I think i will be pulling the engine this/next week, do the TT head gasket, reseal everything swap the turbo drain modified pan on and ARP studs and re-install the engine.
What kind of oil do people run in NA-T's?
Will my stock radiator and fan handle it for now?

I made some progress today. Maybe I'll yank the drivetrain this weekend and get that stuff done.
Removing the bumper and lights was a paaaaaain.
Have a TT headgasket, arp studs, oil pan with drain off my other engine, and exh manifold to install.

Well i need a different downpipe this one doesn't fit the vband on the turbo so i think i'm committing to 4" all the way back.
I'll probably get the 4" HKS supra exhaust and 4" midpipe/downpipe and have someone weld on a 3.5" to 4" vband.
My 100k GE looked pretty nice inside, got the TT head gasket installed, Arp studs and nuts in, my friend forgot his fancy torque wrench so they are just hand tight until maybe today or later this week.
I need to get a new tensioner pulley mine is junk. The wiring is overwhelming but i'll figure it out lmao. I ordered some used VVTI wasted spark coils last night along with new connectors so i'll tie those into the harness when they arrive and figure out what to-do with IAT.
I think the IACV wiring location actually might work for the hypertune style intake, but maybe i was looking at the wrong plug.
