I've got to say... I love my SC... in fact I adore it. However, I think if given the option to swap my GTE out for what's sitting in that C6 Vette I probably would. I love turbo cars, but after finally owning one of my own, I think I prefer that big NA powerplant instead. Glad you're enjoying it! I'd do the same, reseal it, keep it simple, and just enjoy it!

I grew up around V8's and built two in my early years of wrenching, friends got me into imports and i just had to find my way back to it. I've also built an LS7 for my friends z06 and he let me drive it. That kind of lit a fire under my butt to get one!

Glad i get to experience two ICONIC engines in my late 20's early 30's. Best of both worlds.

That's a great way of looking at it! Both engines are true icons and to have them and experience them while they last is a truly awesome thing! We'll look back fondly about it all one day, that's for sure!

The final form! I have some new T4 gaskets coming in, i think i have a leak there or at the downpipe connection. Other than that it starts, revs, moves.

Finished off the catch can lines today.

Fixed the clutch engagement issue i was encountering. The clutch was engaging IMMEDIATELY off the floor with no resolution, had to bleed it more now its good.

Need to fill the car with 7-10 gallons of 93, change plugs, add nylon nuts to the coil hold downs, maybe double check the coolant bleed make sure i got all the air pockets out.

5 days till dyno day. I notice my ambient temp sensor isn't working correctly with this new harness (it reads -22F)and tracing the wiring that doesn't quite make sense because it has nothing to do with the engine wiring, i need to do some pin checking and see whats up with it, i'm pretty sure that ambient temp sensor will mess with the AC system.

-maybe i unplugged IN1 plug behind the glovebox, will report back.

Update my fouling issues that plagued me forever were due to a leaking manifold at the welds. Guess the guy i had weld it didn't do a great job at all. We got it taken off, welded, put back on. Car made 476HP on 93 and we're doing the ethanol tune today expected to make 575HP!! I'll post videos later.

lil snap of it on SP's dyno.

Stoked you got the manifold figured out, and I'd be stoked on that number! Can't wait to see what it makes on E. Keep us posted!!

Very healthy! Must be satisfying after all the work you've put into it, excited for you. Numbers can only go up from there. Post the videos when you get a chance, would love to hear her making some pulls.

Those are absolutely awesome numbers!! Great looking powerband - I've got to admit I'm quite jealous. You've got a real ripper on your hands especially with a nice trans to back it up!

My shifter bolt backed out and almost fell off as well as my exhaust popped off a hanger, and my clutch has been sticking to the floor so I got some work to do to make it a real ripper! LOL

the transmission does not even SHRUG at this power level though, same with the rear end.

I've had all three of those things happen to me (albeit not at the same time LOL) so I feel you!! That's alright - it's a big project and you've messed with so much that it always takes time to get it dialed in 100%.

I can't stop being jealous of your trans!! I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that my wimpy little W58 sticks around for a while.
