So much progress, and i feel so close. My "need to buy" list is shrinking steadily.

When i'm done with this project i will release my nice little spreadsheet outlining the costs. Maybe it'll help someone idk its cool to see either way.
I definitely could have gone with a cheaper turbo but i wanted this for future growth and ball bearings are cool.

Welding my tial flange on this weekend, then i will wrap the header, downpipe, and mid pipe if i have enough wrap ( i got 100' for 26$ on amazon haha)

When i get the boost solenoid in and IAT i will tear the harness open again and finish wiring it so i can install that in the car, and run a feed line for my oil pressure gauge.

THE END IS NEAR I CAN SMELL IT

Ill have some videos when I'm closer here haha. Thanks for the motivation. It's been a real up and down experience but I've really enjoyed the project.

It always is. I've learned over multiple project cars and bikes that even a seemingly small project can get out of hand very quickly. Keep it up - the first full pull you make will make the entire process worth while!

It's a "3 car garage" but the opening is like 2.5ish, i could do a third car if i didnt have so much **** in here.

Currently it's my Jeep+Lexus and i have a mount in the rafters to take my jeep top off. I need to do something about the concrete deteriorating. Probably fall or next year depending when i finish the SC haha

I got a little carried away with the header wrap, also would not recommend ever wrapping a JZ manifold this was a few hour ordeal lol.

I have the Tial installed with a 5psi spring for now (blue) since im sure tuner will have me change it or that'll be fine for 5-10psi. The XSPOWER dump tube advertised as a 90 isn't a 90 and i have to buy the same one my roommate got for his mazda then it'll perfectly dump down under the car.

anyway heres some glamour shots

This RMR TB is amazing i love it.

Immediate things i noticed: The throttle cable pull position from the DM listing is on the bottom, which might be okay as i could run the cable under the intake runners (i think i need landcruiser cable) or run it on top and loop down idk yet.
The TPS will need some dialing in as its VERY adjustable with the adapter lol.

Also the bolts included do not work with the xs intake, too long, easy fix though.

looks nice, just realized you have the 96-97 lower runner with the air injection stuff. You probably want to find a 92-95 lower runner, as the bosses for the injectors are different and the 92-95 one is the kind that takes the aftermarket stuff.
If you pull off the rail and an injector you will see the bottoms look different.

That's what I was wondering! Can't I run the adaptors as well? I think radium has em.

The PHR PS relocate kit is the best fitting part I've bought for this project yet haha. Tucks very nice

Oh right, I forgot you mentioned the adapters. No experience with them but if they say they work then they probably do.

I'm pretty sure either of these would do the trick. Now do i get 11mm or 14mm injectors

DM seems to have both styles. the radium ones look much higher quality with another oring to the intake.

Updates!

ATP 44MM dump tube fit perfectly between the subframe and inside of the control arm, i jacked the tire up to make sure it doesnt hit on the inside and we're good. Still going to wrap a little bit of it since theres like a charcoal canister drain right there.
Made the intake tube work fairly well in the space i had with the huge RMR. Battery fits *barely* but it looks nice.
The lower pipe is now tucked up nice, i will probably find some sort of foam to wrap it with as it's laying against the AC lines.

I'll probably work on bolting the header/dump tube/exhaust on tonight, flip the turbo cartridge, measure for lines get those ordered.
