Love the white/bronze combo on the wheels.

I'm not sleeping on the build dont worry, just getting my house/garage ready for winter as well as waiting on the intake to be finish welded. It's about 3/4 done.

Still can't get it started, Not sure if its the ecu not playing happy with the build or i goofed up timing somewhere which i find hard to believe as ive checked it numerous times.

Fun stuff, build a JZ they said.

Cranking endlessly, If i clean the plugs and cyls from fuel and try again ill get little pops and bangs and nothing. the last time i had it together was lots of progress, i could reproduce 500-700rpm stumbles if i cleaned the plugs everytime.

Apparent issue i think may be the fact that it's not building vacuum while cranking before this indicated the intake was leak, had it welded together, new oem gasket at the head now so i should have no leaks.

I have fuel, spark, air, going into the engine. I haven't tried compression testing it which i may do soon just for sanity sake. It is getting colder out now (it was 45-50 last night in my shop last night) so im sure that isnt helping.

I need to clean the plugs again and see if the intake actually made a difference.

I remember you had flooding happen with fuel even with fuel turned down all the way on your tune. Do you hear the pump keep pumping when you have the car in acc? I had that issue not too long ago due to a faulty clip to the ECU

I have it set to prime the pump for about 5 seconds. I hear it turn on and turn off when its done.

Winter has got the best of me on the build. Maybe once i get some motivation i will start insulation in the garage and get a heater worth using.

Winter goals: tweaked harness, compression test my engine (im sure its fine), acquire Cd009 and related parts, fuel system upgrades (larger feed, delete the damper)

Coming out hard in spring!

Thanks buddy, first tune revision got it idling better, it revs now and idles under 14's on AFR.

More videos soon as i get it ready to get dyno tuned and trans swapped.

Update: we got it running better already! clean revs!

On the to-do list:
Add Oil pressure and fuel pressure sensors
Add Flex fuel sensor
Increase main feed line size.
Add a better transmission and diff
Trailer it to sound performance for dyno tuning!

Not really a car update but side project, i picked up this vvti 2jz split it with a friend, he's mocking up a 2JZ for his 67 Chevelle. $300 split by 2 seemed like a no brainer to have some spare parts floating around and to help a friend start a crazy nat project.

I'm taking the head for my GTE shortblock and ill be cleaning that up and finishing the 'spare' pretty engine while i play around with dialing the car in with my stock engine.
