Oh, I do have a small update. The cup are about 5" tall, and since the 4th gen GS uses spring buckets in the rear to hold the lower part of the spring, it only allows about 2" of travel before the lower arm would hit the cup. What the shop had to do is relocate the spring to be inline with the shock (eg. a "true" coilover), which means that they had to order spring collars and some other parts to add to the BC coilovers. Thankfully the BC coilovers already come with a threaded rear shock body. The top of the shock also has to be moved out laterally on both sides so that the springs and cups can clear the inner wheel well, so they're fabbing something up for that.

Coming along nicely. I like the attention to detail the shop is providing. I suspect you will be happy with results.

Yeah, they have great attention to detail, but the car's been in the shop for a while.
Thanks AJLex, the rear lip is from Artisan Spirits

Ebay replica quality. blah.

Shop got it to work!

Car was finally done after 6 months, and then this happened on the test drive.

Threads had stripped, brake fluid leaked out.

Now just need to get two new front calipers...

Thanks Caketown! I guess when I got the brakes serviced last, they overtightened the banjo bolt and stripped the threads. The shop used a longer banjo bolt, but was worried that it would still leak and it did... And unfortunately brake fluid really damages paint.

You're right about brake fluid really damaging paint. Did any brake fluid get on the body paint? If not, that was some good, good luck!
