Its a tribute to the #98 Toyota Celica IMSA GTO AAR car, being this is a track build and an IMSA GT tribute car, its the perfect livery.

decided to ditch the rear seats, saved 40lbs. Might add some nice, light bucket seats later on.

Tanabe MK4 Supra Strut tower bar also installed. Feels much tighter under cornering now after some canyon testing.

Yeah its meant to pay tribute to the #98 Celica IMSA GTO car, one of my favorite vintage race cars of the IMSA era. Yup its gold foil, trying to block off as much heat out of the intake system as much as possible, especially cause of the radiator.

If my calculations are correct, with all the weight removed so far, I should be sitting at just around 3350lbs.

SuperPro Adjustable sway bar end links installed and holy hell do they change the car. Alot stiffer than it used to be and it corners almost flat now. Highly recommend these for any people wanting to stiffen up the suspension some and get rid of some body roll.

Next up was interior insulation. Didnt remove that much weight but at this point, every pound counts. Front and rear feetrest areas were removed. Covered the areas in aluminum foil to still insulate heat from the cabin some. Noise isnt a concern to me.
total weight loss: 7lbs.

This is awesome. I'd love to compare how this drives compared to my stock + coilovers 1999, especially with all of the weight loss and chassis stiffening.
I know its much easier said than done, but what this really needs next is a 3rd pedal.

Honestly its much a huge difference now, its gone from having heavy understeer to giving a hard time to FR-Ss, GT-86s, and Miatas haha. Its such a good handling car now and I love it.

More updates:

New wheel combo, C4 Cuisine wheels upfront with Hawks Motorsports GTA rear wheels. The wheel combo takes inspiration from racing cars from the 80s with front mounted turbo fans for brake cooling. Being that Im gonna be taking this to the track, it needs these wheels to help extract brake heat under hard braking. She lost 7lbs with those rear GTA wheels.

Also, APR Performance GT3 mirrors replaced the power mirrors now, for a weight loss of 7lbs.

Also, Raybestos ST-43 front and Porterfield R4-S rear racing brake pads to eliminate brake fade when she hits the track.
