CelsiorN1-Anti-VIP build
So Ive been handed the candle to the only track-oriented LS400 build known so far. Ive known this gentleman for awhile now and he passed on his seats to me since I was building a track UCF20 as well. So, without further adue, heres mine.

I take inspiration from the Australian V8 Supercars of the late 80s and early 90s, the Super Taikyu cars of the 90s, and IMSA homologation. Hence the crazy side exit exhaust. System is 2 into 1 factory diameter exhaust, into single stock center catalytic, out in a 2.25" single exhaust system out this flat tip on the drivers side.

Didnt want the bolt on look of the usual riveted flares so mine are sealed on with 3M double sided and some sealant to keep them on. Smooth ZG 240Z flares.
Speedline SL390 wheels, 17 lbs each, 3lbs lighter per corner (also known as Crown Vic PP wheels)
Federal SS595 245/50/16 tires, theyre really 265mm wide though.

Update: door cards hand fabricated, and sunroof deleted.
Also, GM C4 Corvette 'Cuisine' wheels, 17x9.5 with tires size bumped up to Federal SS 595 275/40/17. After alignment should be able to take advantage of the extra tire-to-road
contact. Took it for a spin recently and the roadholding is absolutely superb now. Big girl can hold her own against way smaller cars under hard cornering. Sunroof delete made the handling more neutral as well as more predictable, who knew deleting it would make such a substantial impact?
