Default chrispy's GSF Build Thread

Some of you know me from my 2GS and LS430. I haven't posted my cars in many years so I figured I should update everyone with my latest ride. I was initially looking for a clean white ISF and I wasn't having any luck so I decided to search for a GSF instead. I purchased a 2016 GSF back in late January after searching for about half a year for a white GSF with red interior. I test drove 4-5 that were completed trashed or priced way higher than they should be. I ended up finding my GSF at a local CarMax, put it on hold and bought it the next day.

The GSF is such an amazing car. Every time I get inside it feels like the first test drive. It's definitely the fastest car I've owned. After owning the my 98 GS400, 01 GS300, 01 GS430, 08 GS450h, the GSF feels like Lexus took all the best parts of the previous iterations and put them into this car. It's an absolute blast to drive. Although my previous cars have been mostly form over function, I plan on finding a balance between the two with the GSF.

I've owned multiple 2GS, a GS450h, 2 LS430s prior to the GSF.

The factory storage tray isn't really useful so I got this tray organizer.

Wrapped part of it in glossy carbon fiber vinyl because it felt kind of cheap.

Ceramic coated my calipers, wheels, and wheel wells with CarPro Dlux. It makes it so much easier to clean these hard to clean wheels.

Got some LEMS coilovers by Spirit Racing Japan. They are 16k/14k with 20 settings and they are geared for street/track.

It was a nice surprise that the factory sway bar end links are adjustable.

Still playing with the height and added some spacers. Also added RR Racing USRS bushings.

Congrats on the finding the one and thanks for posting this up!

Can you give your feedback on the RR Racing USRS bushings ?
How much of an improvement over stock is it for street use ? Does the ride feel too harsh ?

Thanks! The USRS bushings did add some noticeable stiffness over bumps. But the steering response is fantastic compared to stock. There is a trade off. Personally I felt the factory suspension already felt pretty harsh but I don't mind it too much since it is a sport sedan.

Awesome upgrades. Where did you get the center console organizer?
I'm running +20mm spacers all the way around and it looks amazing. No rubbing at all.
Any more plans in the future?

Thanks! The organizer and roof spoiler are both from eBay. I have a lip kit I need to install and some 20" wheels. Stay tuned!

Since we've all been stuck at home, I've had some time to install some parts on my car. Hope everyone is staying healthy and safe.

Ended up getting a full Tom's carbon fiber lip kit. I added 20 mm H&R spacers all around.

Car looks on point inside and out! Elvin makes great products. I've been really happy with his shift ****. The accent pieces looks great. Didn't know he was making those now.

Car looks awesome! I know there is another thread talking about the spacers any issues with running 20mm in the rear. Did it require a good amount of camber? I was going to go with 15mm to be safe but, the 20mm fitment looks perfect.
