Post silverJDM Build Thread

Hello Guys,
I am from the island of Saint Lucia in the Caribbean, I have been a part of the community for a while now going through the discussions and learning all about the Lexus GS350.
I have been through a number of vehicles over the years and so far I can say hands-down, the GS350 is the best and most complete package for both comfort , luxury and its sporting characteristics:
Some of my previous cars were:

Toyota Corolla (Sprinter)
Honda Integra GSR
Honda Accord SiR
Toyota Crown Athlete

And currently: Lexus GS.350

In February 2020 I ordered the unit from Singapore which took about 2.5 months to arrive. (most excruciating wait) the route was Singapore -> Japan -> Caribbean Region (Saint Lucia)
On May 9th she finally arrived as the perfect canvas for customization to make it my own. This thread will document the journey and share the experience with you.

2013 Lexus GS350 Luxury Package
Color: Liquid Platinum
Packages:
Premium Package Options
Rain-sensing wipers
Ventilated front seats
Power Rear sunshade
18-way power front seats
Mark Levinson 17-speaker system
Heads-up Display
Powered Trunk
18-in split-nine-spoke alloy wheels

Untouched - The Beginning

FSPORT Front Grills

Changed to the Fsport Grills, I think its brings a more distinctive look to the GS than the luxury model ones
I got mine off PartSouq both OEM
Lower Grill @ $45.00
Radiator Grill @ $ 250.00

I later saw similar items on eBay for a little cheaper but i wasn't sure of the quality and it was too late. Some persons on the forums have said that they were pleased with those they purchased on ebay.
The installation was fairly straight forward, just had to be careful with the clips when removing the grills as well as the two fasteners behind the emblem, as stated by other forum members the bottom prongs on each side of lower grill need to be shaved off in order to get a flush fit. Took me about 2 hours

Front Bumper Removed, took the opportunity to remove some dried leaves between the condenser and radiator

Top Fsport Grill mounted, Bottom grill still luxury style. Some members have contemplated doing this. Doesn't look bad.

Both Top and Bottom changed.
