Hey everyone. I got my Lexus 2017 IS 350 RWD F Sport in December after my 18 Camry XSE was totaled (some jerk rear ended me).

Rohanna rims... stagger (19.8.5 front - 9.5 rear ) had to add 3mm spacers to front to clear brakes
Custom wrap
Led underglow for the hell of it ( $60 Amazon)
AEM intake (before i knew )
Complete LED interior and courtesy light swap out.
Custom paint calipers/decals

Issues - RR Racing tune will not write to ECU after I received final tune. They did not have the tune for my 2017 so I had to send the ECU. Once they got it and the info they needed they sent me the final tune but i keep getting an error on the My Genie. I have tried to by battery chargers and units to keep the voltage constant but it still fails.

always wondered this with Wraps...is there a way to repair the wrap without redoing the whole thing esp. in the front due to rock chips?

The Camry is bigger and heavier..... and being FWD after having my 350 i think it is quicker. The tune for the Camry is just coming out so I have heard it makes a big difference. The Camry seems a little cheaper with some of the features. I noticed the pillars in the front of the Lexus are like a felt while the Camry was plastic. lol
The JBL in Camry and ML in Lexus.... the ML is a little nicer, but both of them have crap for subs. In the end they are both nice but the Lexus a little nicer.



Rock chips in a wrap are similar to a paint job. You can't really 'fix' them. You would have to replace that whole panel or section.

 

dang...what do your use for longer trips...painters tape or something similar?

 

I haven't taken my Lexus on a trip and in the past I really haven't done anything :-( I have seen plastic bags and painters tape. I just make a point to try and avoid riding behind anyone as much as possible.

 

Nice ride... what was done to the front emblem?

Looking for ideas.

 

That is just a vinyl overlay.... I know RR Racing has some CF front badges. I just got it but it does not fit my year. Even though they say it does.

 

Oh ok. I'm looking to do something custom with my front emblem. Mind sharing where you got the overlay? I think I've seen the RR ones.

I bought a new chrome emblem for the rear on Ebay and wrapped it in graphite metallic. I just need to install it.
