If you want dual tips on the PTS exhaust, you will have to go custom. There are no direct slip on options.

Im surprised more don’t do something like this. It’s not disputable that these cars put exhaust into the cockpit. The rubber flaps were designed to stop that, but they clearly don’t do a great job of it, degrade quickly, and the question still remains of whether they stop the exhaust in the first place.
I agree! I've been thinking about it since I got headers and may do something custom. I guess an exhaust shop could just cut and weld on tips or custom build their own. I'll start looking around on here as well to see if anyone has done it. I'm sure someone has!

The final pieces to the engine showed up today - RR Tune, HPS intake elbow, and aFe dry filter. I plan to install everything on Saturday (including the trunk vents) not unless I get an itch and do it tomorrow or Friday night. I sent off my file to RR for them to finish the tune and get it back to me, so idk if I will be able to wait until Saturday to upload that since its just plugging it in hahah. Heres a picture of what came today!

I realized today that this is the first car where I've actually finished all of the mods I wanted to do on a section of the car (meaning engine, exterior, suspension, etc). Ive had my share of Honda's back in the day but I never finished them and honestly never did anything to the motors really. I know it isn't much modding - headers, exhaust, tune and intake elbow, but its all I had on my list and its now completed.

Good stuff man!! Congrats on achieving your goal.

I came from Honda's as well and I have been relieved at the limited power mods for the ISF. Makes goal achievement more realistic. Honda's are endless. Lol!!

Thanks! I know right? You can change out everything down to the dang bolts/engine dress kits. Its insane. I do miss the "limitlessness" of it, but I really like just doing a few things and being done. The only thing that sucks is for the price of the engine mods I had I could've bought a turbo kit for a civic hahaha. Still love my F though!

Yeah, but now you have a reliable low 12 / high 11 second car for 400k miles. Good luck doing that in a Honda.

Also an added layer (or 2 or 3, lol) of refinement. That being said, I do miss revving to 8,750 RPM every now and again lol.

nothing screamed like the good ol vtec hahaha

Installed the HPS intake and aFe filter, and trunk vents Friday night, very simple install obviously. Waited until Saturday to do the tune - RR put a lot of info about battery voltage dropping so I took it to a friends show and put a battery charger on it. I can definitely tell a difference with the tune. Power seems to be a lot more steady and the car just seems more responsive. Its not a custom tune by any means, but it does a good job for what it is! The trunk vents I replaced were pretty much fine. I can tell no difference in the exhaust smell, but it wasn't a terrible replacement.

Going back to the cat conversation, I found a company called PLM (Private Label Mfg) that makes high flow cats. I found good reviews on the Honda forums after a quick Google search, but I didn't really find much here other than some exhausts or is200t downpipes. Could be another option to get rid of this smell. My wife drove my car tonight - when she got home and opened the garage door it filled the house with exhaust. Really weird how some people say they can barely smell it afterwards. Its so strong on my car.

Here's the after pictures from the quick installs Friday.

I had a PLM header on my old Integra(ITR) and it was ok for what it was. I would put Vibrant in a higher quality position over PLM though. I also had a Vibrant cat with that same set-up and zero smell and zero CEL's. I would say they were close to how a Magnaflow cat looks and performs, but ISF owners have complained about them only lasting a year or two before needing replacement. No where near the GESI cats though as those seem to be in a class all their own.

It sounds like ANY cat set-up will help you currently so I'd just get whenever for now and get the GESI ones when stock replenishes.

Yeah I think that's the boat I'm in - just buy something and wait til I can get my hands on GESI. Sucks though, would obviously rather just order those outright and do it once for labor and such. I'll honestly probably just ride with it right now and worry about the cats later. It sucks to not be able to drive with the windows down but that's what AC is for haha.

As long as I’m moving, I can’t smell the car. At a light with windows down, sure, but it’s not like I’m passing out from it.

I had a PLM header on a K20 SI. Many reported that the slip joints leaked, so I welded the slip joints and made a solid header. It was ok for the money.

Good to know. I'm going to ride it out for a little while longer I think - hopefully Gesi can get more in stock and I can get my hands on them.

I think its time to go on and address the valley plate. I've been slowly losing coolant since I bought the car and assume that's what's causing it. Also believe I have a passenger side ballast going out. I purchased the maxcare warranty with carmax, so I need to see how I can get it covered at the Lexus dealership about 2 hours away from me. No chance I want Carmax repairing the valley plate leak, haha.

Heres how the headlight looks. I assume its the ballast because sometimes the headlight comes on and sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes it is pink like in the picture. They also whine after the car is turned off. They stay on for like 15 seconds and just whine - not sure if that's normal?

@truespeed MY 2011 whines sometimes when on battery power too, but it does not happen after driving for a while, the typical auto-shutoff scenario. Have you narrowed down the whine to the ballast, or could it be coming from somewhere else in the power circuit?

Might it be worthwhile to try new bulbs first? Xenon bulbs typically color-shift to a purple/pink hue as they near the end of their life. If you can see purple/pink after ~10sec of warmup, that is a dead giveaway that they are going. Once mine started doing that, I replaced them with Philips 42402XV2. I think the ones I replaced were the factory originals.

Step one is always replace the bulbs with known good. Ballasts can go bad, but it's not the usual first issue. Be sure you get quality bulbs. There are lots of fakes out there.

OK good to know and glad I asked. I'll just replace the bulb and see what happens with that. I just assumed it was the ballast due to the randomness and coloring, but I will try this first.

I'll do this first then! Good call on the bulbs - I'll be sure to get something quality. I actually found another thread on here recommending these on Amazon.
Amazon Amazon

They are on sale for $100 off, so I went on and bought two. I'll verify authenticity on the Philips website as suggested in the thread I found here - https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-went-bad.html
