Default Another LSXUS 🤦🏽‍♂️

Back story, grew up wrenching on Honda’s... always wanted to do an LS swap tho. I originally bought an IS300 to LS swap (inspired by ATSMATT) but realized that had some body damage so ended up selling it off and scrapping that idea... found a good deal on a 2IS and now I’m here. I have just about everything but the wiring. I’ve read both LS swap threads and reached out to the owners, but I’m a little intimidated by the wiring, I’m trying to keep as much of my gauge cluster working as possible... so any help will be greatly appreciated... on to pics!

Best of luck on your plans here! I've seen ONE successful V8 swap on here; but after it got running, no further updates.

That wiring will be a PITA though from what I hear.

shoot forgot about this thread…

to answer your questions and give the thread some closure… YES and NO. I got most things working on the car to include electronic power steering, my cluster work with the exception of the tachometer which requires a conversion box from 2 wire crank sensor to 3 wire crank sensor for the Lexus ecm to read correctly and send the correct signal to the Tach. Other than that, my Speedo works, turn signals, everything…. There’s a few lights on due to I didn’t want to take the extra step and deal with them… the trac light, the check engine light, the low oil level warning (I’m working on this one, using an LS oil level sensor in the oil pan) the car has been running for a little over a year now, AC is cold! Super fun to drive and a real head turner at the car meets…

there isn’t really a specific wiring harness to run the LS, if you guys have any questions reach out to Performancesupercars on Instagram, he’s working on selling a full LS swap kit for these cars. 👍🏽

What transmission is pushing it down the road?
Video won't play so....

Pictures please.

JM2C but I'd opt for the black box approach, pay someone to take the analog data and convert so the ABS and all that jazz works.
