First step was to get a doner shifter console, remove everything and make the cut. I did this using a dremel.

Test fit with my WeAreLikewise shifter **** an ebay shift boot and retainer and with switches to control my subwoofer and various lighting in my car

skinning with carbon fiber weave, not that fake carbon fiber wrap

after about 5 times of laying resin and sanding. a long process but turned out well. the resin i got was suppose to be UV resistant so i didn't add clear over it.

Final product with the new shift ****, shift boot, switches and bass **** all fitted. The side pieces were also carbon fiber skinned as well as some other random interior pieces i decided to play around with

Random pictures I took

that carbon fiber on the inside of the door at the bottom looks sick, is that wrapped in carbon fiber like the shifter area or was that a piece you purchased aftermarket?

Wow! You've got serious talent and clearly have a passion for your car.

What are you running for the radio display, is it a VIAS technology system. It looks cool.

Also... and forgive my ignorance, does lowering the car and providing the ground effects improve performance and handling?
Whether it does or doesn't isn't important... your car is true piece of art and definitely car-show worthy... I was just curious... although I will
never come anywhere near your level of awesome customization... to me, a stereo upgrade and adding a sub are considered a huge modification !!! :-)

Cheers!

it’s the oem part that I skinned with carbon fiber

it’s just a stock radio with switches for lighting. Lowering a car does help with handling but when it’s as low as mine, it’s purely for looks. Splitters and lips can be functional to help with aerodynamics and downforce but these are all cosmetic

new parts as of 2023:
HC motion RGB headlights
HC motion RGB tail lights
GMR Paladin
18x10+16 with 215/35/18
18x9.5+21 with 235/40/18

it suppose to be a square setup but VRwheels built the fronts with .5” bigger barrels than I wanted. But they sent me free barrels to rebuild them to the spec I actually wanted so I’m not mad about it

Well, the inevitable happened. Cracked my bumper in like 5 different areas so I decided to fix it and reinforce it with carbon fiber. I also finally started making a new floor piece for my trunk, obviously also carbon fiber.
These are just progress photos, it’s not anywhere close to being finished.

Picked up a new IS F bumper. I had this replica wald diffuser laying around but it didn’t come with an edge to lay double sided tape so I had to make my own. I used expanding foam then cut it to shape, fiberglassed over it and then used body filler to smoothen it out
Fitment probably won’t be how I want it since I’m not good at bodywork :/

X,

Curious, about how much money would it cost in parts to duplicate what you've done? I imagine your time would double that cost along with all the do-overs necessary.

somewhere around 10k+ over the 6 years I’ve owned it lol. Yes, the do overs added to the cost but that’s how it is during the learning process
