Hi IS people, this is a build thread of my 2011 IS350. I assume a lot of people will have mixed feelings about what i've done to this car because it's a Lexus, but this is mainly for me to see my own progress

I bought this 2011 IS350 with about 45k miles on it as a replacement for my previous car, a 1998 ES300.. The transmission on my ES gave out at only 80k miles, so I was hoping this IS350 would last longer than that..

Had my friend polish my car since the dealership trashed the paint.. in the sun it was an eyesore, the swirls were over the entire car and it looked like someone washed the car with sandpaper lol
a full day of work and my friend had the paint looking nice and wet

I bought some Tanabe coilovers and an axleback with a muffler delete off other 2IS people that were on the island. The coilovers rode really nice, it didn't rub even when I maxed them out but that's probably because they didn't really go low at all LOL
I also bought an eBay vertex replica lip, some rain guards and threw on some yellow vinyl tint with LED fog lights

ordered some LED tail lights and the rear diffuser that literally every other 2IS has
Somewhere along the way I painted the diffuser too..

Invidia midpipe because the muffler delete wasn't obnoxious enough.. oh yeah and i switched out the tips for some 3.5" truck tips, aka blast pipes

Sprayed my calipers burnt copper and in the process gave my car some burnt copper flake in the paint too (note to self, cover entire car when painting calipers)

the tanabes had a cute drop, but I was ready for the low life..

also added on INGs replica side skirts to add to the ground effects.. and it looks like i did a chrome delete too? i cant keep up with what I did..

finally bought wheels for my car.. some say "reps" i but i don't mind, they were a fun little project for me.
I bought them for $500 used with tires, stripped the white paint and painted it dark metallic silver. Came out decent imo
if you're wondering, XXR 526 18x9+25 with 215/35 and 225/40

New front lip setup, vertex was nice but it kinda hid the nice 2011+ front.

yes its still on coilovers, yes i still drive it everyday

bought my first real piece of carbon fiber.. it's nice, but for the price i decided i'll make my own carbon fiber parts from now on LOL
i think they were $300-$400 shipped if i remember correctly
Talk about a piece of eye candy! Great job seriously I just got my first Lexus ever (06 is350) and I love seeing the possibilities and the crazy potential this gen has. Thanks for posting!
