Current project:
Carbon ceramic brake rotors from FIGS/RB. I will be using RC F track edition calipers front and rear.

Grafted rear TE RC F and stock IS F dust shields.

Nice! This was the route I was pursuing. The fronts seem straightforward, the rears... not so straightforward. Why not go with OEM rotors though?

I’ve had the FIGS/RB cc rotors on my RC F for a while now, and I love ‘em. I also don’t like the mismatched OEM rotors hats. For the IS F fitment, they made custom hats so everything lines up without shims or spacers. Rears will need adapters and Mike is helping me with those.

Beautiful build with top notch parts. I especially like the yellow accents on white.

Can I get your thoughts comparing stock MY14 suspension to the Figs Ohlins R&T?

Thanks! The ohlins on this car are road and track from japan but with 18K/14K springs. I feel that they are better in every way than the 2014 factory shocks and springs. The FIGS built Ohlins are valved to his specs and I imagine are even better.

Indeed, they are amazing. I am running them now with solid bushings and they just work.

From Vision…

…to reality! Thanks to Mike Figaro for making the brackets!

Caliper clearancing

Just enough to clear the knuckle mounting ear.

Torquing the axle nut. My trusty tool I made many years ago getting used again.

Just enough clearance between the lower control arm nut and lower caliper bolt.

Front caliper straight bolt on lines up with FIGS/RB ccm rotor with custom hat. Rotors Now available through FiGS Engineering!

Truly superb, love how it turned out.
What brake pads did you have before with your previous setup and how does it compare to this overall?

Thank you! Pads are RB ST600 on both previous and CCM setup, braking performance is the same, maybe a tad better now, and also almost no dust now compared to previous setup. Weird as they are the same pads, but dusting is a night and day difference. Of course the lighter rotating mass is a huge improvement too.

I can't compare them as I never had, neither will I ever have an RR steering wheel. WovenChang wheel quality is excellent though!

Went from the smaller universal catch can to the larger, competition version. Also, went with a larger -12 line from the can to the intake. The can can barely fit in this location as shown by the heated and formed washer filler neck. I also wrapped the harness behind the headlight with some TFE tubing for abrasion and heat protection.
FIGS kit makes this job much better with custom brackets to secure the can and relocate the washer filler neck, but I wanted to use the hoses and fittings I already had.
